Its just how you treat your bike and keep it well maintained.
And thats why my 220 delivers a smooth ride as well as a mileage of 45.

Why do you need SMS lingo on computers? Doesn't your keyboard have enough keys?

You should use 15W50 or 20W50 oil.

'SMS language' is a crime on public forums. Don't use them. Your bike needs 'Xw50' (where X= 0,5,.... etc) oil, as said by lockhrt.

P.S.: Don't use any car oil. Only bike specific oils are meant tobe used in 'wet clutch bikes' like ours.

                    • is it compulsary to service in every 2000kms? also oil change at every 2000kms?
service centre told to service after every 2000kms.
manual says 5000kms.. my bike daily travels about 60 kms per day. so 2000kms should done in very short period. also he said that, has to visit sc once in a week to tight chain. is it true? whether it looses in such a small period?

                      • also the oil level is almost full when watch through the window. it is lies in above the two marks in the window, at top of the window. only very small space is there to full it. is it normal for the second free service?, that means, any purpose for this?...i think it must be in just below the upper mark.
                        anyway bike is fine...

Motul 300V (850 Rs per liter; approximate life is 5000-7000 kms), Motul 5100 '15w50' (450 Rs per liter; approximate life is 3000-4000kms), 'Valvoline 20w50' (280 Rs per liter; approximate life is 3000kms ). (Top 3 oils)

Petronas mineral oil 20w50 (approximate life is 2000kms), Bajaj Dts-i 10000 (don't remember exact price should be between 300-450 Rs), Castrol Activ '20w50' (approximate life is 1500-2000 kms). (These three are the least recommended oils, use them only if you donot get any other 20w50 oil)

                          Thanks.

Just follow your service manual. The service intervals are mentioned in it. Normally one should service the bike every 2500kms. Chain tightening should be done every 1000kms and this can be done at any mechanic shop.

What procedure do you follow to check the oil level. Check the oil level when the bike is on a flat surface. The normal oil level should be between the middle of that glass window.
