    is it the limit?
a speedo indicated 130kmph is more or less topend.

but you can go higher if you've got all the right conditions...

changing at the right RPM, wind direction, tucking down well.

    i've been past a "speedo indicated" 150kmph...
    mine's a fully faired (aerodynamic) P18O tho.

so for a stock P18O 135ish on the speedo is more or less the fastest you'll see.

Hmmm. That's what I was thinking too.

But the reason why I mentioned the throttle range is because I remember reading somewhere the CV carbs have different circuits for diff throttle openings. I think around that range, the AFR circuit completely dominates the engine speed. Please correct me if this is wrong info.

Also, the problem does not happen when I open the throttle further. The engine revs properly after that.

      • guys.. have a problem with Disc brake.

i am feeling the disc brake in front tyre is offering too much friction.. when try to rotate the tyre with hand on standing bike, it just rotate once OR twice and then stops due to lot of friction.. I asked the mechanic to clean the brake pads and put them again.. he opened the assembly cleaned the brake, did some setting and put them back..
for 1 day/ 30 KMs bike was feeling like flying and no unnecessary friction from front disk brake, but problem has returned

any one faced this before? any sollutions?

i had an accident one month back and front disk was replaced
brake pad is also replaced 1 week back as it was completly gone.. I am not sure whats causing this issue??

on a perfect day my bike's top speed is 135 kph. I have touched it twice. I have gone 5-6 times above 130.
once I touched 141 but that was on a slope so it doesn't count. I have reached 124 in 4th gear at 11K RPM and it's been my best experience so far.

I'm assuming that front wheel and disk are perfectly balanced. Logically thinking you need to first find out which side of the disk is getting scratched after that loose and tighten the big bolts who fasten front wheel to forks.

I am thinking. Some spanners of sizes varying accordingly, grease, lubricating oil, Screw drivers, blower.

I don't have grease only. I think vacuum cleaner can do the job of blower.
Yesterday I took out air filter and in a need to clean it I crumbled it like anything. And now bike has become very smooth and as silent as a Unicorn.

Instead you could have tried buying a new airfilter for 30-40 Rs only.

Sorry dude, was bit busy @ work . Regarding P135 footrest, Please refer the attached image. You need to visit a lathe, heat the two spots circled in Red color and bend a little to fit in P180. The lathe people charged me only Rs. 50 for this work (in Chennai). Hope this helps .

The upper part needs a whole straightening, that's not little by any case.

                                The front sprocket?
                                The gearbox sprocket?
I am already running a P220 sprocket kit on my 180UG3. The front sprocket spline slots and bolt locations are the same for all pulsars after the UG3
