Ask in P220 thread to check whether pro biking does it or not.Originally posted by Eshan-P180 View PostDoes any one know who can offer a good decent paint job for a Pulsar 180 UG-IV in pune????
Actually you're talking contradictory. Synthetic is what you should use if you're ripping the bike a lot. Synthetic is the best at high temp than semi or mineral.Originally posted by Eshan-P180 View PostSuggestion is dont switch to synthetic as we do tend to red line the bike and its not that thick either...
You use mineral oils for 5000kms....not good...it should be drained every 2500kms!!!!! it keeps the engine in top end condition if you do that!!..
Mobil--yes my friend had used it once....and thats all he did....just used it once and ensured never again!!!
Quality of Synthetic is better than semi, which is in turn better than mineral. (Synthetic < semi < mineral).Originally posted by Ghost11 View PostMy bike has run only 3700Kms and i change oil every 1500kms ,currently i am using bajaj dtsi oil which even though is semi-synthetic does not even have the quality of a mineral oil and i was thinking of changing to motul semi-synthetic,So can i do that?.Thanks for the input on mobil oil.
I'll say change directly to 300v Motul. You've ran a lot on mineral.
Talking about P180, experts like HydBiker etc,. have suggested that if one wants to switch to Motul 300v Synthetic in future than he should switch to it at very first servicing. It doesn't matter if bike is in running in or not. It reduces the chances of engine oil leakages in future with the same oil. Using this oil very late means it's very likely that there will be oil leakages.
that's seriously cool.Originally posted by arjunb25 View Postwell here are the snaps of the product which i have installed in my bike.

I have few questions.
Does it even start the bike without keying, remotely?
Like our mobiles, isn't it likely to have buttons pressed unknowingly in our tight geans?

no buddy for the buttons being pressed in our tight jeans u can see in my photograph u can see there is a cover to protect the buttons of being pressed and so there is no problem at all and thanks yes it is very cool to use it and yeah for the auto start option there is a wire which goes in your self start and just by pressing a button u can start your bike but for this u have to remember that the bike in not on gear, 2. the bike should not have a turn off switch to off mode then it will not start.Originally posted by lockhrt999 View PostAsk in P220 thread to check whether pro biking does it or not.

People have put P220 disk brakes on the P180 but it didn't make any difference as P220 rear brakes are useless (tested personally)Originally posted by arjunb25 View Postjust came to my mind of one thing is there any ways without disturbing the body of the bike can we put the disk brakes at the back and what would be the cost of it. or should i stick on with the stocks. It generally cost around 10K.

Well u asked me another question from which sc I got the key security system job done well they did not do anything well it was carried out under there guidelines of no wire being tampered as my electric system will be void well I came with the guy with the whole kit to put the system in my bike in there presence BAJAJ Allahabad service center of mr. Gulati. He is the only dealer who is running 4 parallel service centers in the whole of Allahabad. Well I must say this he has just opened another outlit in naini area u can see in the google earth. Man he has a army of workers like 75 people working under him which includes all from guards to the floor mechanic. Well there is a guy rakesh who is my mechanic and buddy he is like a god for Pulsar just by listening to the sound he can tell what kind of a problem your bike has. He is well trained for this machine for putting the engine from down and getting it back on the bike he takes exactly 45 min. With ofcourse the work which is to be carried out. He sees my bike when ever I go there as he has been my incharge to see my bike by the dealer himself.click me

What brand is this? Many well-established dealers here in Delhi do the same thing. They sell (Chinese made?) security systems shoving down a lot of hogwash by saying insurance claims would be easier and that the system is guarenteed to work without causing any problems. However, just as I was taking the delivery of my bike (from Dewan Bajaj, Lajpat Nagar), two bikers came in with busted circuitry from the rains the night before.Originally posted by arjunb25 View Post10000 bucks wow I am happy with the stock.

It is very important for the brand and installation to be proper. I later scoped out security systems from Autocop (pretty well-known car security manufacturer) and they were much cheaper (some 1100-odd) and better. Also, the installation would have been done by Autocop technicians at home. The device had copper connectors so that it could be attached to couplings in various places of the circuitry without any cutting or splicing. So be very sure of all these things before any of you get this and I hope Arjun that you got a decent deal.
Also, this might help: Xenos

Which grade brake fluids do the bikes come from the factory??DOT3 or DOT4?.I am asking this coz when i look through the looking-glass i can see that it is semi transparent. From what i know semi-transparent are DOT4 grade and reddish color ones are DOT3. right?.Also my brakes levers when pressed feel spongy/rubbery and i can see a small bubble inside the reservoir as well.Should i bleed the brake??.

thanks for the concern brother. Well auto cop thats a news for me as i believe they dont supply security systems for 2 wheelers rather there is a black cat system for 2 wheelers for 1800 rs. well this on is Chinese one and for the cutting of the wires well they have not done any so no probs. Well if suppose my circuit fails also then 1300rs. is for the new wiring system of the bike I have already esquired about it.click me
