You need to cover those areas by masking tape which are not tobe painted black or any other. Masking tape will prevent unnecessary spots of paint on other than required surface...Originally posted by JASMINE RIDER View Postoh...got it...thanks abhi....and xionite...but not told the use of masking tape..?

masking tape is a paper based tape with a self-adhesive.Originally posted by JASMINE RIDER View Postfrom where we get that masking tape?
what is this sand paper? dont know that...
it's used to "mask out" areas of something you don't want to get paint on.
and the self-adhesive isn't very strong... so it's easy to pull off.
also... use emery paper... it's black... and it's meant to be used on plastic/metal.
sand paper is similar... but it's meant mostly for wood.
for the P180UGIII onwards... yes.Originally posted by arjunb25 View Posthay guys can we put the 220 silencer easily on a 180
except for a "little" cutting & welding to the rear mounting point of the end can... it's a direct fit..

It's a stock one. It started cracking from the start.Originally posted by abhichotu.abhi View PostHave you putted after market saree guard on your bike? (I ask this as you said that 'THIS saree guard wasnot direct fit on the bike').
Stock is the best option get it replaced as welding will spoil the asthetics of bike.
I wonder if this is covered under warranty? Rather you will have to apply for insurance.

if the 180 ug4 with thick shocks and full dc then yes the p 220 can is a DIRECT FIT.Originally posted by arjunb25 View Posthay guys can we put the 220 silencer easily on a 180
it completes the look as the chasis is also from p 220 in a ug4 180. the bike feels a bit heavy as the can is heavy.
so it will be a bit lethargic,no performance gain as the backpressure is more or less same only.
the one thing you will notice is the GRUNT OF A 220.the sound is a little bassy comapred to stock.
if you are considering replacement then go with stock or go for a joels can, that can is light, and produces sound which can produce an orgasm, spits fire too some times....

Not a noob question, mate. Many dont notice it.Originally posted by Eshan-P180 View PostOne noob question....how and when do you know that you need to chain sprocket of the bike....

What happens is that your chain makes a noise which increases with higher speed. It's the same thing that happens if your chain becomes loose. But here, no matter how much you tighten it, the chain will not work normally.
By the way guys, something is up with my bike. The speed and pickup takes a hit under heavy load - just like if the clutch got worn out. For example, in single rider, my bikes does 54-55 at 4K rpm. Yesterday I got 8ltrs of fuel and now it does 53. If I have a pillion riding, then the speed decreases to 52. Also, there is a knock-like noise under hard acceleration. (not exactly a knock. I'm running slightly rich so its not the AFR). Any inputs? I've done 9400kms.

May be, Parallax might have occurred in different conditions, observe closely. I have not noticed this issue. Knocking is common in Pulsars, one day or the other knocking sound comes out n my bike, Sometimes it disappears by itself and sometimes I have to retune the carburetor. Have faced this issue with all the Pulsars I have owned including the current one.Originally posted by VD17 View PostBy the way guys, something is up with my bike.
