these stem guards really protects front stem.
some days back there was a small accident with a cbz xtream when it suddenly stopped. real full story...
i was in my bike with my friend as pillion. speed was 40. then suddenly here comes a maruthy omni reversing to the high way from a pocket road without looking back side...he was in very rush...really got angry..
. this time there was a xtreme also infront of me . they just flicked and passed.
then, done same with my bike..it was very. then i told him some #$@%%&^* looking at him.. then after looking infront shocked. cbz is also disced thereto tell some@#$$%&*$. but it was too late when i saw that..crash at his back ....
on the spot omni gone away fast seeing this... then search for injuries in my bike..just this stem guard got some damages...but it was a great crash..really wondered how it protected bikes stem. stem guard was fitted just 2 days before this crash..really it was fitted for look. but really impressed by its security
. then damage cleared and refitted.

The tank PAINT job is pending, I am thinking of doing it at the earliest. The tank has alot of BIG (both in area and deep) scratches. Another hundreds of rupees tobe shell out.
@eshan: The bike looks nice.
@jasmine: After reading all the posts of last two pages too I am unable to understand how the stem guard does it work and what it protects? Is it the shock-up stem or what?

You have rode 25K and still using stock tyres. That's a hefty life for them. I thought they last 15K only.Comment
