Oh don't worry that's acid spillage from the battery. Your mechanic must have filled the battery with water to the brim. It will stop at once. Later sponge that area with kerosene.Originally posted by micky_kar View Post

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

idle rpms.
I own a P180 UG4 2009. I have question on what is the idle rpm's that should be maintained. Mine is tuned at 1000 on hot engine as of now - tuned lastly by service station. I don't rip it really in city driving.. Bangalore traffic doesn't allow to rev it at all ;-). I would say i am able to get fuel efficiency of 45. does this low rpm have any effect on engine - long term - piston rings, piston head.

Just tighten the clutch cable (near the engine casing on the right hand side.Originally posted by premkumar View Posthi guys am new to this,i own a pulsar180 ug4 which is just 6 months old.the issue is ,i cant shift the gears when the bike is in idle condition.even though while riding it is not that much smooth enough to shift the gears.....

It sounds like your engine is tuned to leaner. Low RPM with very lean settings can cause knocking. And that's not good always.Originally posted by dabster View PostI own a P180 UG4 2009.
