    My 180 does 54 Kmph @ 4K there is nothing wrong with the current speedo of yours. The old speedo might have been at fault from day one of your purchase. As for the total bill its not surprising my last two services costed me 2.5K approx.
    now, i am very relaxed....thanks for your valuable commend..
    but, now i feels like i am doing higher speeds but, meter is showing slow speed. dunno why...and what you think from pics whether it belongs to p-150?..

      Dunno if it belongs to 150 or not but there must not be the difference in speeds. Plus if you're not satisfied then get the older meter repaired and fit it. It is easier for me to say this as I have not spent anything for the new meter, it's you. But, I think you did'nt took the meter back from them, or did you? If not then the mechanic who did serviced your bike will get it repaired and then sell it.

        it was replaced under warranty...just 5 more months remaining for warranty expiry....

          It is raining heavily in my place, and the bike has started showing signs of electrical faults. I had to crank atleast 10-15 times to start the bike when kept overnight or for long hours, under rain. Right now my father had trouble starting the bike and he called me, he asked me to remove the spark plug connectors, blow-off air by mouth inside them, so as to clean any collected water particles, I did that and voila the bike started in first crank. So, are they the signs of early ageing? No, I guess the problem is at last service I got the sparks plugs replaced and the mechanic might not have put the plug connectors properly.

            after a very loooong time i am posting something in our 180 section...only problem i am facing , the firing sound from exhaust has changed...it is not smooth..service allready done..just 500 kms back...it is giving sound like phuur phuur....its not linear..please tell me the soution...

                              @eshan: Looks Gorgeous!

                              Meanwhile, I had problem with bike, it started 'missing'(hicc-ups), Similar to when the revv. counter kicks in, only difference was it was missing at lower rpms. Also, the rpm needle was dancing all over the rpm range when revv'ing. Gave the bike yesterday to my mechanic and the only problem found was a loose coil connector wire. It runs fine now.

                                Going through this thread, i have now decided to buy pulsar 180 as it fulfill all my requirement , despite of some feedback from ppls here.

                                I will finalized the formalities with in next 2 or 3 days, as i am very much busy in my official works.

                                I am from Delhi, Vikaspuri.

                                Please advice me on the followings-

                                1) Things to be checked before taking out deliver (specially on bike).

                                2) What are the run in period (is it 500km or 1000km)

                                3) precaution during initial period.

                                4) what oil to be used, shd i fixed with oil provided by service center or shall i buy myself...

                                5) any other points needs to be consider initially so tht my bike last for longer ... as i know initial running decide very much vehicle life... please suggest me..

                                6) also pls suggest me best service center during (free service) which one is better.. so that I will buy the bike from that company showrooms..
