    Now this is very strange!!! Very... never ever happened to me. Puncture does happen but never ever blown out with a thud. How old is your tyre??

    If you GOT money please buy P180. Period. Also, why aren't you considering P220 F (without fairing!!!) It will just be few thousands extra as compare to P180!!

    • The Tyre has done 16000kms.But it looks good , no signs of wear.

      Got it checked by the mechanic who showed a tear in the rear tyre,measuring nearly 2 inches long.He told me that there is no way i could get it repaired using a tubeless tyre pucture kit.So bought a tube and got the tyre paded.So my tyre is now a tube Tyre.

      Lets see how well it is going to do.

        You are so wrong dude.
        Even my Pulsar 220 gives a mileage of 40.
        So 180 should give you atleast 45 if you maintain it well like a lover.
        2000 - Hero Honda Splendor
        2010 - Pulsar 220
        2012 - Ninja 250R or CBR 250R

        • so if p180 gives 40+ , what does p150 gives .. basically the cost difference is ~3.5K between the two and I am deciding whether there are any cons going for 180 instead of 150 ?

            Then you must have been riding punctured tyre for a long time and you didn't realize it was punctured. We do take a long time before realizing the tubeless running flat.

            P180 gives between 45 - 50 kpl
            P220 gives around 40-42 kpl.

            My P180 gives 47 kpl no matter how I ride. Only once it gave me 40 kpl when I was doing constant redlining 120+ kph.

              P180 gives between 45 - 50 kpl

              You cannot always expect a 45-50 mileage from all p180's. But its sure to give somethin more than 40 for sure! N 150 can give you somethin above 50. Normally 50-55! N i'm sorry if i'm wrong! :-)

                I think you should go for the p180. It gives you a pretty reasonable mileage with consideration to the power! Plus p180 looks far better than a p150!! Test ride both bikes you'll feel the difference!

                  Majority of people here are getting between 45 to 50 kpl. Getting millage per litre less than 45 is a bit rare.

                      I get it checked every 2 weeks and make sure the air pressure is maintained at 32 psi.The nail which pierced the tyre is a real huge one(as told to me by the auto wallah who was behind me).

                      Is it ok if i continue with the tube inside my tyre and any idea on how much air pressure i need to maintain.Thanks in advance!!!

                        Yup! Its perfectly fine! No worries! But do switch to a tubeless one wheneva you get money! A tyre with tube gets punctured pretty easily!

                            You can't open console. You will have to cut it through. And if you do so sticking parts back on will be difficult and you will eventually loose the water proofing. But you can replace it with 220's console.

                                its never advisable to do so, but in case u dont have any other option,u can use it. But not for a long distance,change it as soon as u get the fresh one.Morover it depends on the condition of ur bike as well as the engine oil
