Well gave the silencer to the mechanic and he opened the stock and changed it with the 220 one. Well i started the bike noticed the sound had changed but obvious, then i took her for a spin in the same silencer i was allowed to do this since i was going to spend 7k for this mod. Well while i was on her realised few things:
1. The pickup had gone
2. The engine was getting heated alot
3. the smoothness of the bike had finish
4. there were some back pressure as a result the bike stopped 2 times.
well i came back and told the person that please jaldi sain stock wala laga do i want my baby back in my arms dam there was no smoothness at all.
Well got a lesson by all this what ever u get in stock be with it dont fiddle with it.click me

Has anyone bought the new k&n filleters which is bend for all Pulsar which have been bought after 2006 for 2,690rs which has a good warranty for 10 lakh km. If anyone knows or seen this do let me know and also it is a direct fit and no modification u have to do on the bike.

AFAIK these are low resistance cables and thus helping in better spark. Not much I know about them but yes they do increase performance (iridium plugs + spitfire cable). Top speed increase? NO!Originally posted by sudhar_koya View Post

Wet fork
In a big problem i think...wanted to use the bike for a lunch break spin.
I noticed the fork being filled with oil spill...i mean the oil in the forks have come out i guess and saw some stains on the parking floor too....what should i do now??? can the bike be ridden till sat or sun cz i can fix it over the weekend only.. please advice something that can help out...also i beleive the fork seals are out...kitna kharcha ayega any idea please let me know that too....awaiting reply.sigpic

Fork seals are the culprit, you're right. You can ride like this as not the whole oil will come out. Infact many of my friends have ruptured fork seals and are riding the same bike from last 1-2 years. You will need to change the fork oil and cost must be around 200-300 INR.Originally posted by Eshan-P180 View Post

Iam sorry for asking this since its happend for the first time...
Btw oil refill is 200 out here in SVC.....i do not know the cost of the seal.. please enlighten!sigpic
