The bike is overheating because you're using k&n air filter. To stop overheating and increase life of the bike you could go back to stock air filter.
If you want to keep that filter and still don't want to overheat the engine these is only one thing yo can do and that's upjetting the nozzle. NO matter how much you tune with stock nozzle, it won't dispense the required quantity of petrol.
I doubt if that air filter of yours is original because original generally costs upward of 2k.
Anyway, here we think using KnN filter on new bikes is same as losing virginity by black mamba.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar 180 (All Versions)
First of all my filter was k&n second hand filter which is smaller than rc 1060.then I upgrade it by buying the k & n r 1100 from original dealer and that cost me 3800.i fitted with our best mechanic in town.he told there was a huge mistake in previous fitting which is done by another person. He told the pipe which have 2 hole one is open and another for breathtaking. So the open one need to blocked he told thats the reason for your missing problem. He cleaned the carburetor and build new pipe and fitted very good.i told him tune and he tuned to 4 full turns.my bike was sounding good but then started vibration when higher speeds. I called him and asked but he said vibration and tuning is not related.
All i need is a good performance bike I am ready for upjetting. I already asked him but he told jetting reduces mailage and not needed for your bike.please help me.my service is in this February 1.does changing the oil solves the problem. How to know if my engine have problems.and the bike engine makes noise after riding 25 km
After first service. (Even Before fitting k&n)
My current filter picture

Hello Taahir bro,Originally posted by Taahir View PostSome people who think that am lying about FE, i can prove it only if you come to my place. Got no other reply.
You need not prove it. Good for you if your bike is giving that much and good for you only if it is not giving that much
.
Have fun !

Re: Bajaj Pulsar 180 (All Versions)
I misread the model number as price.Originally posted by fahimclm View PostMy air filter now.k&n r 1100
First of all if you had to install the that filter why didn't you install the one which is specially made for pulsar? It fits inside stock air box, no mechanic needed and according to KnN it doesn't need any upjetting.
Most of the engines do face problems after installing non standard air filter. Basically by upgrading to KnN r1100 you're making too much air inside the engine compared to the quantities of petrol and that's why it's overheating. Overheating has already started to kill the engine, vibrations are just a start. Bajaj engines already run hot. You have some chance if you upjet the nozzle as it will let in more petrol and that will keep the engine cool upto some extent.
If you want higher fuel average, engine will suffer but if you can live with lesser fuel average, engine will still suffer (but a bit less).
