I also don"t rip my bike..
Use Motul 3000 Mineral oil or Valvoline Premium 4T or Motul 5100 semi synthetic or Motul 300V Fully synthetic. But these oils (except Motul 3000) are meant tobe used after you finish your run-in of the bike around 2500-3000 kms.

      • Hey Guys..!!

        How are u all...
I own a pulsar 180 UG4. It just completed 1yr. Odo reading is around 12000 kms. Now there is a problem from last 3-4000 odd kms. There is a pipeline which is connected form engine to air filter. There is a clip on that pipe which is linked with engine. And from there, there is lot of moisture of oil is coming out. Which comes out and sticks with almost all the down part of engine excluding the outers of cylinder block & head(obviously because the pipe is connected on the down side). I am continuously reminding these Bagga Link Mechanics. And what they do is just tighten that clip and done. Which is obviously not done.
For this problem I showed my bike to local mechanic in my area, and he checked it and said the oil is reaching air filter. He said just ask the guyz in bagga link that oil pumping is out of order. They will open engine from the side where clutch plates are and set it. Told the same in Bagga Link workshop (Kirti Nagar), but when I told them this, there face was like. Now what is this ?? They don't even care to check this and just tighten the clip once again, cleared the engine with my petrol and thats it.

Now I have lodged a complaint in Bajaj, and there calls are coming in to pls come in the service center and we will fix it..
I will go to the service center by tomorrow... However, do any one of us have any Idea or have ever faced this prob.....

This might be the case of over-fill of oil due to which the exhaust gases carry away some oil and thus you see oil deposition. Get the oil leveled and the pipe changed.

          • No abhichotu...

I always carry a can of motul... which is a measured 1 ltr..
The problem is of oil pumping. Thats the reason oil is reaching air filter. Oil should not enter the area of air intake. This is a big problem...

Although you fill 1Ltr of oil there is still the possibility that more than 100 ml of extra oil is not drained from engine.

Oil pumping? I don't see it a reason I mean how could faulty oil pumping happen in a new engine? and a faulty oil pump will also lead to engine damage, over heated engine? and a noisy engine. Are these symptoms happening in your bike?

                • ^^ the mod isn't worth it.

the P18O rear brakes work just fine.

if it's an "aesthetic" mod then go right ahead tho.
                  .

The 220 or 200's rear disc hardly makes any appreciable braking difference. Skip it!

Get the front brake pads cleaned and aligned.

In case of chain oil use any w90 grade oil although the quality differs but you are'nt filling it in gearbox either.
