I saw P220's new version.. The dynamo covering is Silver, and the area around the pillion seat, where the "220" logo is stuck, is all checkered black and yellow..

Yuck look, i would say.. I liked that all black+red and other colors, but seriously, giving a part of the engine as Silver is giving away all the points for plausible design.. :-/

The problem with the bike has been resolved now....

I appreciate and respect all the solutions you guys presented to me...

The SC guy called me and told me that the bike is all well now.
I didn't believe him and confirmed again...
so he said, "We had a lot of pressure from above, your bike was Priority Number ONE. There is no way we would have called you if we weren't 200% satisfied with ourselves now. Your Starter Relay had short-circuited. We have changed it."

I went there, and the bike was working fine..

It has been 2 days now, and the bike as awesome as usual..

It costed me Rs.64+ taxes.. Total Rs.72.

They didn't charge me any labor, as my bike was on complaint, and I had already threatened to take them to Consumer Court, plus I had lodged a formal complaint on their All India Helpline Number..

Guys! This tollfree number really works wonders! and these people take you seriously only when you call them up!

I'm attaching the Ignition/Starter Relay.. Have a look..
      Congrats man.
So I and abhi were correct then. And I had also said that the fault was tiny and not a permanent one. I predicted two things by sitting a thousand km away without having a look at bike and both turned out right.

SC guys think customers as rookie. Actually they have lack of intellect.

Yeah dude.. seriously.. these guys need a real kick in their nuts for sure..

And yeah, you did so predicted this ways.. Well, the only difference is, you don't deserve to sit at such demeaning place.. You surely need to open up a garage, or something.. where people like us are benefitted by your expertise.. This forum has helped me a lot connecting me to such like minded people and their never ending urge to help their fellows..

Thanx to you and all, alike!

        • Currently i have a hid+halogen set up.

The HID is 4300K HID which i got from our very own DOC! Infact he gave me his wonderful entire setup. I could not have the entire setup in my machine because I was facing problems with having such a big headlight in the crash guard.

So took the HID and took the Halogen from an older HID kit of mine, fixed it to the HID base. I removed the shield too from the old HID kit(Shield:A small plate kind of thing which they generally place under the HID bulb to make it high beam.I placed it above the bulb and thought it would become low beam )

Battery : The hid is effortlessly handled by our bike. The halogen is the real problem. It is for getting away from the cops during the city ride. I guess it is a 55w bulb.NOT a 35W definitely.I ll switch it off for 1 minute intermittently in a 1.25 hour ride. Also i replaced the pilot lamps with LED. Kinda helps!

          Light spread:
Halogen: Firstly the halogen is to the left of my HID. Its beam forms two V patterns and falls exactly on the road.Other than that there is a light illumination all around the area. But it is very light. It consumes the power too much.

HID: I should admit that i did not achieve the great spread which i achieved using DOC drvmtm's setup. It used to be insane on the highways. It was a spread which would cover a 4 lane road and would extend to as far as you can see.

Coming back to my setup. It is definitely far better than the stock halogen lights. More suited for highways as most part of the light is still at an inclined level and goes real straight onto the oncoming vehicle's head section. But one good thing is that my light's height increases with the distance. It is at our headlight level when some vehicle is just in front of us. Over a distance of 200~300 metres it raises to our head level. The width of the spread is pretty decent. You can easily manage on highways. I'll upload pictures.

For lubrication just oil the cable from the lever side and then press and depress the lever, this will make sure that the chain is lubricated.

Look at this video for lubrication and removal of the clutch cable:

HowTo: Lubricate your clutch cable - YouTube

                            Thanks.

P.S: No need to use that clutch lubrication tool, just make sure that you put the oil into the gaps.

One just need to remove one side of the cable (obviously the end which rests at higher height for lube to flow downwards).

Unlink?? do you want to remove it from both the ends?
