Looks nice indeed! Unfortunately my bike has lost her shine and there are alot of scratches on the upper area of tank, will need to repaint it as some of the areas have caught rusting and the pains is totally gone.
i am using pidilite motomax wax. thats why its shining.

He claims that it will provide protection against the bullets and missiles at Pak. border as he is going tobe a Colnel there.

    • @Jasmine rider: Comparison between motul and valvoline!!
Motul 5100: Was good till 2500 kms.Only thing negative is that the engine would heat up pretty soon.Other than that it worked fine FOR ME!!
Valvoline 4t premium: Was really good till 1500kms,would rate it better than motul till 1500kms ONLY.After this the bike had become real harsh and could feel lot of vibrations!!Even a friend of mine took it for a ride and told me that the bike was not smooth like before. Now the bike feels as if it is running without any oil!!
Had expected valvoline to be better than motul.

This is purely based on my personal experience and may vary from person to person!!

I don't know how to recognize genuine Castrol, all we can do is buy it from a reputed store.

And I never knew you were so much embarrassed with me. Don't take it seriously I was just Joking, APOLOGIES from my side. Happy Riding!!

But, Honestly speaking I never know how this stem guard will help retaining the stem in case of an accident. Looks just like over builded BICEPS of a school boy who goes to gym.

Indeed! I too have a different opinion. Motul felt harsh from start to end and Valvoline felt good till 2000kms.

          some doubts,

1, now i am servicing my bike here at local show room, from where i bought it.
now question is can i service it at any other good show room?
2.our manual says to replace chain link lock and wheel rubber damber at 10,000kms. its not done in my case.if its the chain set itself? here s.c people says to replace the whole chain set.

Don't go with manual all time.
This chain lock costs around 17rs. I change it whenever I go for a service. ( to be on the safer side)
And you can change your chain set at 15K to 18K kms if you wan to.

Yes, I am a bit biased towards Valvoline. May be because my 180 has never leaked Valvoline.

now here is one ninja owner too in our thread.. warm welcome to you and your valuable suggestions.it was very helpfull for me. so the chain lock can be replaced.17rs? its very cheep. definitely will change it. not at here local s.c., anywhere else.
i think the problem is with this chain lock. because the vibrating sound is like, karr....karr..like problem is there in a particular area.i think its the chain lock.

one more thing. how can we unlink this chain lock for cleaning purpose of chain.its really pain to clean it without removing.

this is eurogrip tyre nowadays coming with new 180s. its the same 120 section but, its wider than the picture.

Not this time somehow I have put up mseal on all the possible areas of leak.

1200ml must be filled as the oil cooler itself takes in 150-200 ml of oil.

I have been using motul 5100 for 400 Kms now.It leaked the very first time i rode after filling it but then it stopped after that ride. From then on it was all advantages. The bike felt smoother but then that is debatable to a limit. One thing though that i can say without any sort of doubts is that the engine temps are very low compared to when i was using bajaj dtsi.Once i was riding hard ie;6-7K rpm at that time too it leaked but from a different place and again it stopped after that.

                              So to sum it
                              pros for me
Bike feels smoother, engine temps are low.

                              cons for me
Leaked twice but stopped without doing anything.

Does anybody know why it leaks?

I dont know its legal or illegal, but i removed and cleaned the carb at my friend's workshop(I think its illegal) and the boy who worked earlier in Bajaj s.c, told that they never gonna know it.One thing bro you always loves her performance rite? Then go to good workshop if you know that worker/boy,one who with lots of experience.
