bajaj s.c cheating...
today went to s.c to solve my rear brake problem, which is making some vibrating sound when applying rear break. but they were in work as usual. only two mechanics are there along with a child who is doing the whole cleaning of bike, chain spraying, such things. i have to waite there for 1 hour, but, they even not attempted to look at it.
.
then i just went to the show room shop keeper and, asked him for the chain link lock. then he just told me that, " its not available only comes with the whole chain, sprocket kit which will cost 1300rs.
. the life of chain is only 10k kms.the chain lock wont make any change, just replace whole set "
then i told him that,"so its very expensive to maintain this bike.already 10k regular service kit will eat 1000rs from pocket and, along with this chain, sprocket set, it will shoot up to 2,500rs ".
then he said that "its natural, because it has 180 cc, and want more maintenance"
then at that time one s.c. mechanic came and asked for the same chain link lock, which was the subject.
.
then, he became very silent
.
then mech got angry and asked several times.
.
atlast shop keeper got it for the mech.
that time i was like
. and leaved from there.
i was wondering how they can say that it is not coming separately, the manual says to replace it at 10k kms. then how can they do proper service.
God knows what are other things wich are not available.sigpicmy bike is my sign

Holy fcuk, brembo on P180? That's some ducati, aprilia etc,. stuff. But still question remains do they come with metallic pads?Originally posted by JASMINE RIDER View Post

Why don't take some shots of your chain and sprocket? we'll be able to judge then. If you had maintained it properly then chain life actually doubles and can even stretched to 25K km. I don't think you need to change them. If I recall correctly you said the chain's making noise.? Basically we all know that chain rests on two sprockets but not all know that it literally touches/rests on swing arm. I guess that's designing defect. You can tighten and lube it regularly to reduce that noise. And here the probiker manager burps the same as above every time you walked in there.Originally posted by JASMINE RIDER View Posttoday went to s.c to solve my rear brake problem, which is making some vibrating sound when applying rear break. but they were in work as usual. only two mechanics are there along with a child who is doing the whole cleaning of bike, chain spraying, such things. i have to waite there for 1 hour, but, they even not attempted to look at it.

About noise coming from rear break drums, is it like screeching? Then it's normal too. It screeches in every monsoon. No big deal.
Anyway I bought suzuki access today. About my experience with suzuki...it was disaster. Every one in the showroom was arrogant as hell. Lies is what comes out of their mouth every time. I wished all should die by next day(I still really do). It's worse than any Gov office. They never ever pick the phone. They had given 4 numbers and only one of them attained some time. After that the call gets forwarded about at least 4-5 times until we get to the required department.
I know bajaj are not good at after service part. But I've never came across any arrogance in there. When we increase our tone they do opposite. Although Bajaj handles more than 10 times customer and vehicles than suzuki, I've always seen them interacting well and fine with every one. Suzuki were just utterly ill mannered. This will be my first and last Suzuki.
Have you guys ever came across any arrogance in bajaj?Last edited by lockhrt999; 09-27-2011, 01:04 AM.

hehehe.. That's the case here too in Indore. They just don't care if you are a customer buying a bike or a scooter. If you want to buy you will have to beg them for formalities.Originally posted by lockhrt999 View PostAnyway I bought suzuki access today. About my experience with suzuki...it was disaster. Till now Bajaj has served me well and no such case of bad behavior.
And why on earth you buyed the Suzuki when you knew that if they don't care about before-sales service, why would they give a good aftersales service. Not stretching the topic but Aviator and Wego deserved a better chance.

no. now it became a serious problem. bike is now almost giving a jumbing feel with karr karr noice. its more noticeable at low speed run. now i dont like to ride it slowly. If I recall correctly you said the chain's making noise.? The chain is either too loose or too dry. You won't find the link. You will have to replace the entire chain KIT. Same with 220 also.Originally posted by JASMINE RIDER View Postyes. i will definitely take some snaps.

DIRTY??? It's looks very clean!! I also mean DRY by that. Couldn't gather much with the pics but this pics suggests life of the Chain is on last stages. (Refer the lines on the swingarm where the Nut of the wheel meets, hope you can gather of what I am saying

Depends on how you ride. If you like to pop wheelie then life is gonna be shorter. If you do too much of hill touring & doing offroading where considerable stress on chain is applied then life will get reduced. But most importantly, use good lube for your Chain. OKS / Motul/ 3M etc are some. if you lube properly, then it's going to last longer.Originally posted by JASMINE RIDER View Postso...that meens, we should change our chain set at every 10k kms? is it too far?."HASTA LA VICTORIA, SIEMPRE !" - Chesigpic

We bought it for my mom. She and even I didn't like Aviator. Activa and aviator are same with different clothing. Their handling was a bit unpredictable, nothing like old activa. Access is such a bliss to ride as compared to the others. About wego, we didn't want to take risk by buying from non-reputed brand.Originally posted by abhichotu.abhi View PostNot stretching the topic but Aviator and Wego deserved a better chance.

Awaj nahi ayega to kya hoga?
You can use those spray he has mentioned above or W90 oil which I've been using from the start. My bike has clocked now 14k km and I think chain could last for another 10k km easily. And my sanity of riding have lost quite a while ago.

just one week ago chain is lubricated. diesel is used for the cleaning process then, lubricated it using TVS chain spray.Originally posted by lockhrt999 View PostLubricate karo mere bhai!!
