yes no doubts 180 rocks definitely no doubts on this

Mate I am really there with you brother even I have cancelled my booking but will await for the cbr 150 which is due next year.

Well that is after I see the bike not before that there r no plans to change her definitely not. There is no other brand so good that a 180cc. No hassles nothing just get the service done in time u r relaxed. I have clocked 8700km and she is strong just waiting for my 10,000km service I will just get the plug change new filter and new engine oil which I always change no matter what.

Get my chain cleaned maybe if it is necessary well I dont want to screw her no ways. She is absolutely not giving me any trouble.
    Good to hear that mate.....
I mean whats with us suddenly that we have forgotten what we fought for sometime back.....
comon man the 180 does go mad and deliver a top whack of 130kmph......
Stick to it and it wont leave you.....rightly said brother!!!!

But I wonder how much more lean should an engine get?
Already Maruti 800 (old model) gets hot once you travel 150-200 kms at moderate speed. And the new model runs even leaner. Even Pulsar 180 shows its heat in 50 kms itself.

Is going lean the only objective? What about the cooling?
Is the part in bold true ??

Nope!! not at all. I have never experienced that. Engine runs on normal temperatures (when tuned rightly, any engine will misbehave with improper settings). I have never felt extra heat or over heat. That BOLD part is just IMO a single case.

        • guys help me on this my fairing has been vibrating when my rpm goes a bit up what can be done should i put some tape from inside or there are any bright ideas.
checked all the nuts are tight and everything is green, but still at high rpms or even when the bike is at halt and raised it vibrates u can hear the sound very clearly.

It is true, provided that you use any oil but Motul and Valvo semisynth and also you keep oil for ages without changing.

I am using castrol and this oil sucks...engine heats up very quickly for as small as 30Km , As my exams are going on i have bide my time before i switch over to Motul which IMO is best suited for pulsar engines.

            Ps:Engine is optimally tuned .
