        check this link :
K&N Air Filter & Air Intake Dealer Search - Where to buy K&N Products

or you can get one from planetdsg located on MG Rd (PlanetDSG : Motorcycle Riding Gear, Accessories, Apparel and..)

from what I've heard K&N filters improve performance but they affect millage very badly

        • It's been a long time since I posted here. Guys, by the way she's running on Motul 300v for the past 100 Kms and no problems noticed. I think the reason for leaks is the late shift to full synthetics after prolonged mineral oil use. In between I shifted to 5100 after 1200 kms and 300v after 3000 kms on the odo.

          • I'm going to use same motul 300v on 4500 km

Please let us know how the new spark plugs are working. Is there a significant increase in performance/mileage?

How much did you have to pay for these? And after how many KMs on the ODO have you shifted to Iridium?

                • Guys, my bike just finished some 8500 or 9000kms(did'nt remembered exact figure). Am satisfied with its performance during past span and loving it for it's treaty mileage figures. Coming back to topic it returned me 52kmpl this time (calculated by tank-full to tank full method.). I'm Lovin it.

ya there is a little change.. response of bike in 1st gear has improved..mileage i cant tell you now coz i dont take the mileage thingy seriously..

I paid RS1000 for 2 plugs.. and i shifted to them at around 3700 on ODO..

yes it's possible to get millage of 52. Once I got 55. There's nothing wrong with your bike. Bike gives maximum millage when it's running at perfect A:F means not LEAN not rich got it?. Bike millage improves after second servicing/2000 km. and yes most important it depends on your riding . Try to drive at stable speed of 70-80 to get maximum millage.
tankfull to tankfull method means you fill for example 5 liters of petrol and ride till the tank gets dried

Okay... how do I get that "perfect" A:F ratio? Is there a method to ensure that the mixture is not too lean and not too rich?

I think I fiddled with the carb screw out of desparation. The bike did not even run for 300 KMs on 8 ltrs of Shell Super petrol, so I tried to 'adjust' it and make the mixture a little more lean. But the mileage did not improve and now the engine sometimes stalls when kept at idle.

And if after second servicing, the mileage is not increased, then I will be disappointed with the bike.

AFAIK... that is not what you call tank full to tank full Effy checking... First you gotta fill your tank complete upto its brim and note down the KMs... and when the tank again gets empty then note down the KMs and calculate the difference..

Getting anythin above 50 KMPL is Just too good for a 180 cc bike .. i am getting around 38 - 40 KMPL.. which is i feel good with my driving style and conditions ..

Dnt forget its 180 cc Mill and anythin around 40-45 is good ....Dnt Play with your bike's A:F setup just to get 5 kmpl +/- ...
I would suggest better check your riding style and try to avoid heavy traffic...

Well... then this tank-full to tank-empty method is pretty dangerous.. don't you think? What if the tank dries up at the middle of nowhere?

The Digital Fuel Indicator on P180 is 'very' unreliable... and I have had the experience of the tank getting complete dry while still on the 'Main' and not even on 'Reserve'. I guess I will have to find another way to calculate the exact milage...

nup i did this after my second service.. just keep a 1lt bottle filled with petrol with u.. keep it in your bag pack.. i did same..
well i had 1 more advantage.. in Chandigarh there a petrol pump in rage of 5-10 km every where..
when the bike stops or tank finishes just put that 1l petrol wid u and drive to nearest Petrol station and fill the tank up again.. ...

did't work for me.. had a problem.. some idiot ''Off the supply of petrol" and i dint noticed it.. my bike stopped i thought that the petrol is over and used the reserve with me in bottle..and the tried to start it but it failed to start.. i thought some thing in bike must have got damaged.. but then after 5-6min noticed the fuel is off. :|.. but still bike was 68km in reserve.. so at an appox it gave me around 40-45 avg
