thanx again yaar for ur suggestion.. really Apache RTR 180 is a very good bike and i have taken the TD of it.. its inspired me lot for performance, pick up and breaking but i dont like its look and size. Its look is very compact. nd i dont want to go for FZS. I hate this bike because of 150 cc engine.Originally posted by abhichotu.abhi View PostIf you are looking for a VFM package then go for RTR 180. It has got a lot of ADD-ON's like
Rear disc brake, Better digital meter.
And above all my running is 40 kms every day (in town) and i would like to go for long ride too and my budget is 70000.00 rs and mileage should be around 45 KMPL..
So i have only two options :
1 > P180 (68600.oo rs)
2 > RTR 180( approx 70000.00 rs)
nd i like the P180 looks but dont know about its below mentione area :
1 > performance
2 > pick up
3 > breaking
4 > mileage
So i am requesting to all of you to suggest me, which one will be good option for me. I am 5'9" and weight is 58 kg.Last edited by sumit delhi; 05-06-2010, 12:57 AM.

1) Torque is What one has to live with, In city one might feel lack of torque. otherwise, The 180cc mill roars like a LION.Originally posted by sumit delhi View Postnd i like the P180 looks but dont know about its below mentione area :

2) Good, but definetly not in the bars of RTR 180.
3) Okay
4) Excellent!! I am consistently getting 48-52kmpl in city. And recently got 56kmpl.
Rest is your's choice.

Hi Guys any idea what points or what standard i should set for my Bike behaviour post her Second service, i mean as i m going for second service would like to know how to measure if servicing done was proper and effective.. what changes i would notice iterms of (after second service)
1) Perfomance
2) Pick-up
3) Mileage
4) Gear Shifting
5) Smoothness
6) Exhaust nOtes
After serive can i go beyond 100 KMPH , as currently i do not ride more than 70--80 what should be Do's and Dont ..
I know i m asking more (which is though not enough
) please advise
Please Note :- Only Optimist (postive) points will be entertained

@Lockhrt are you sure about that...Originally posted by lockhrt999 View Postgenerally 2nd servicing is done after 2000 km and it's best practice to get bike serviced on km basis...
As what i have just read at http://www.bajajauto.com/images/main...20UG%20III.pdf it says the recommended period for second service is 2500 Km or 240 day from date of Sale, which ever is earlier..
Dont you think it would be very early to get bike serviced and i m also worried that my bike would not be taken for second service (by SVC guys)

1) Performance will be better due to the completion of run-in and new engine oil. Parts will move freely and hence performance improves.Originally posted by himanshumm View PostHi Guys any idea what points or what standard i should set for my Bike behaviour post her Second service, i mean as i m going for second service would like to know how to measure if servicing done was proper and effective.. what changes i would notice iterms of (after second service)

3) Yes, it might increase if servicing is done properly by SC.
4) Gears will become smooth.
5) Smoothness will always be there post each service.
As you have completed 2000kms+, so you can now go till whatever you want. Personally, i waited till 2500kms to go beyond 60kmph.

Guys, and those guys who are in disguise!
One of my cousing is zeroing in on P180 UG4, But according to me as it has only got self starter, so he might have helluva time while starting it in winters, early morning or any other inappropriate time.
Am I right enough with my thoughts? Has P180 made anyone to employ the "push-run with it-start-get on top" method ever?
Kindly reply.Na tha kuch to khuda tha, kuch na hota to khuda hota, duboya mujhko hone ne, na main hota to kya hota!

Nope! I have not faced that situation till now. And neither of the guys owing UG3 or UG4 have faced the issue with self-start.Originally posted by whytryharder View PostGuys, and those guys who are in disguise!

I knew but, only wanted to hear from you.Originally posted by whytryharder View PostGuys in disguise?
It means those guys who are facing brunt (if any) thanks to the electric starter of this bike!
Coming to the topic, The self-starter has already been a part of P200 and 220 before being launched in 180. So, it's a tested and proven feature. And there is nothing in a self, other than a winding needed tobe powered by a battery or power source. Henceforth, no problems.
