Tu beta pakka ghar baith ke pahiya ghumata hai aur baad mein thoda bahut ghoom ke sirf thoda sa hi petrol burn karta hai aur fir bolta meri bike 60-70 de rahi hai.. tune engine change to nahin karwaya na.. kahin passion ya unicorn ka engine to nahin.. mileage to beta wahi wala hai

just kidding..

yr meri bike ka avg mujhe lagta hai 35-38 ke hi beech mein hai.. uske aagey to kabhi gayi hi nahin.. every month if counting my travel from my office to home and vise-versa i have to fill around 600 buks of petrol, as i fill my bike 3 times a month & with 200 buks only.. is it causing a problem.. or may be pending of second service(which god knows when will happen)

2nd Service pending, I am really angry. Now, donot give me the excuse of TIME?? okay. I want to comment for all those people who says that they donot have time:
"Jab purane jamane (old days) mein log bel gadi (ox cart) se jatey thhee tab woh log kyun nahi kehte thhee ki 'TIME NAHI HAI', aur aaj jab hamare paas sab suvidhayein hain, tab bhi hum log keh rahe hein time nahi hain."
Infact, we have faster mode of transport, I know that burden of work has increased but not more than old days people. Those people used to work in scorching heat for hours from morning to evening and still have time left for extracurricular activites. I am really angry Himanshu on you. I am not offending you, but, considering you as elder brother i am giving you some sort of words that might help you in future not in riding but in every other thing of life. If you understood any of the words of mine, then, go and get your bike serviced or consult me how to manage time??? i will definetely change your STRESSFUL life.
Anyways, There is not so much traffic as there in Delhi and that might be the cause of milage figures i am getting.

Did you showed this problem to SC people, What did they said then?

I noticed Bajaj sticker on your clip-on's, where did you get that from??

as I suspected bike tank got emptied on main...As I had a bottle full of petrol no pushing the bike this time ....anyway bike ran total 560 km from empty tank to empty tank...means I'm getting millage 48...which is I think too much considering my kinda rash driving in heavy traffic of Pune...

Bhai tu to senti hi ho gaya.. kahan puraney zamaney ke peechay pad gaya.. lekin tu ye to manta hai na ki in Ox cart time pe yaani aapki Bel Gaadi ko run-in puri nahin karni padti thi.... ha ha just kidding.. brother if i wasn't clear with my words then i m really sorry.. actually jab main kehta tha ke time nahin mil raha hai..uska ye matlab tha ki mujhe mauka nahin mil raha hai ki main apna ODO meter 2000 mark ke uppar le jaon.. if i correctly remember still my ODO read as 1900+ something..but that's also true at some point of time i realized that i have crossed my 2000 Km mark and meter is again running from 1000 mark.. hope that was my illusion only...but seriously due to late night seating in office, also include Sat/ Sun as i get often call to come to office.. thats why i m unable to go anywhere, i have so many time promised to Prateek (Xbhp) but i never managed to meet up the exepectation to visit Xbhp dahaba together.. and now due to such a immense heat outside i can not to even dare to think to go on a long drive..

But really thanks for your concern & stess redcution Gyan.. will speak to u on phone someday to really cope my stress.. thanks for being Kind to me.. Take care..

i've brought that sticker from a local bike parts shop for some 10-15 bucks.
it's the same as the one on the front dome, beneath the headlight.

Sorry!! I spoked too much, I became too much sentimental at that time.
Will keep that in mind in future. Talk to me anytime and i will tell you what i follow daily to meet stress and time requirement. Ofcoure these techniques are too old now.
I donot spin wheels for mileage by my hands. Aur meri gaddi sahi AFR tuning pe chal rahi hai, it's neutral.

Self Start !!



Guys Since the Bike(P-180, UG - IV) came from 1st service, it is giving starting troubles.

Earlier it used to start with just a gentle push of the button, but now it has to be tried many times, also earlier there was no need of the accelerator after pushing the self start , but now I have to give keep on accelerating so that it does not switches off !!

Wat could be the possible fault. I can not rush immediately to the service centre again, since it is quite far from my place !! Help out guys !!

It tells that Either your AFR is not tuned or your IDLE RPM is set too low.

ooohh chil it's nothing...they must have set idle too low...tighten idling screw by 1 rotation....its located on the left side of the carburetor upside down

bajaj guys in my first service of p180 ug4 poured BAHDAHL in my petrol tank and engine oil box for worth Rs 200/- to smoothen the engine.
is it really required?

also some oil is at the top my engine for about 2 days.is it normal or should i go to service centre?

plz help as soon as possible

Bardahl is a proven additive, so, no problems if you use it. But, as your bike is still new then avoid that becuz it doesnot makes sense to pour it in new engine.

Clean the oil spot at your engine, and observe it for some 20-30kms if it comes back then visit SC, probably they will apply a rubber sticking adhesive.
