newayas..today i tried to rip my bike..and iam extremely disappointed by seeing the result..bike didnt go beyond 107 no matter what..on a full throttle..
now what could be the problem guys? i think the bike is not tuned properly ..there must be some differences in air/fuel mixture..how can i get rid of this problem?
i dont want to go to SC..
if posible, could anyone plz post the pic of the air/fuel mix SCREW on the carb..there are two screws like that..
has any one faced similar kinda problems?

                • regarding top speeds of bike itr may depend on, how you warm-up the bike, what,s the current condition of piston block is???

if both the above mentioned things are OK, then go for minor checks like air filter blockage, carburetter cleaning/retuning, spark plugs(mainly recommened for 7-10000kms old bikes).....

or check if the oil is overfilled or not , if engine oil level is higher than required than top speed will be severly affected

my bike is 7 months old and clocked 3600 on the odo..so no question of checking the piston block,
i think SC guyz tuned my bike to extract better mileage out of it..iam getting 45-50 which is unusual

how many times you will ask same question?????

different bikes have different types of tyre depending on the test conditions, companies recommened best suitable pressure for their tyres which depends on bikes weight, rider comfort, gripping ,....

if you keep tyre pressure too low as recommened then your tyres will wear out fastly but better grip on highways(straighline travelling)..

on otherside if tyre pressure is high(1-3psi more as recommened by company(32rear),you(35-36rear) then you would get better handling (specially in rainy conditions), but it will result in a stiffer+bumpy suspension, which ruins rider comfort...

now its up to you what you finds comfortable both for yourself and bike....

                          any more ques??????????????????????

no problems with your bike just get the carbuterretor retuned??

BTW, avoid speeds above100kmph, that is what i do, my old bike P150 classic hardly crossed 90kmph in 5 years of ownership by me, it decreases engine life fastly then you would drive at 70-90kmph, no problems in thi70-90 band and you get good speed tooo.. this are my thoughts rest is yours..

that was just a check,i am not a ripper ,i normally ride in that band as you have mentioned, but then p180 is supposed to cross 120 isn't it? .that is why i checked that..short time bursts u can say..
aneways ..i will get my carb retuned at bigger service centres in the city..iam living in a town ..so it really sucks here. thx for the info

                              • @Abhi, Thanks for the reply Bro
I was only asking this question again & again coz I was not getting good justification. as according to my little knowladge a heavier bike(147KG) should have even heigher typre pressure (I can be totally wrong )
                                Anyway

                                One more question
What is cost of rear mud gaurd for P180,
As today some car hit me from behind, and it broke slightly
