  • About height of bikes..

Hey guys wanna ask u one thing.. Is the rear inclination of p150 n p180 r same? I mean both d tails r in same height? I want my p150 rear look lik 180. Is there any way to increase height without any major modifications?
I love d way d rear end of p180/200/220 looks. Lik sports bike.

No inclination is not the same...180 has a little more height and its rear part is a little bit different...just get to any mechanic nearby and ask him to turn rings of rear shocks...but as you get more height suspension will be more stiffer with better maneuverability of bike.

I hav already adjusted my suspension by 2 steps harder. The result was i could not control my handle in slow moving traffic especially with a pillion. The handle goes either left or right. I used in tat position for 3 months. Recently i changed that to stock position as it gav me better balance in handling. The mechanic said its just suspension changing tool and it wil not help in altering the height. Is that really helps?

The black clip-on comes as stock fitment in the 220s (F & S)

              They really look good....

On another note, I've decided to stick to SS oil for my engine - Valvoline..
Its super good considering the price and quality..

Only 'Black P220-F\S' have Black clip-on's and rear grab rails. All other colour 220's have normal silver(or as in 180) clip-on's. But, I didnot quite like the Black clip-on's, the ones with our 180's are more 'appealing'.

Valvoline is a good VFM oil, I too have the same opinion for it, as you do. I was using it till last service, but, the unavailability of the oil forced me to shift to Motul 3100 mineral oil.

                      • The bike is making HUGE 'khat-khat' sound while hitting potholes. The sound is coming from somewhere in the handle-bars or fork, I cannot recognize the exact place. I showed to mechanic he told that some bearing will have tobe replaced??

Exactly.. its the 'Fork-cone set'.. Get it tightened first from mechanic or service center and if the sound comes again after a day or two then you need to replace it..

To tighten you need to loosen that big nut (in between the handle bar) and then tighten the ring just below it (bottom side of handle bar)..

Let me know of the updates

Yes, the mechanic did tightened the ring. But, the sound is still coming, and is now more prompt. I think that replacement is the only way. But why? is the cone set gone kaput so early? Bike has only 10000kms on ODO, till now.

Depends on lots of things.. Riding style/pot holes on roads/sometime if mechanic has tightened it too much/at times a fall too might ruin it..

Get it changed and it'll be fine .. Mine is still fine but my friend's bike has also done some 11k kms and the cone set is kaput..
