I think you can get a spare key from the showroom itself. My friend got a spare once. They asked for the key number for reference.It is written on the metal tag attached to the key ring you get when you purchased the bike.Originally posted by abhichotu.abhi View PostAnyone knows how to order spare key for Pulsar 180. Apart from what you've mentioned If you facing problem while downshifting (read - difficulty in lowering gear from 3rd to 2nd and 2nd to 1st) then get the gear shifter (shaft) changed...Originally posted by apc_07 View PostHii friends....

Hi guys,
Today, I went for a 400kms (round journey) to Bhopal. Actually, My friend had some official commitments there, in Bhopal.. I am also free these days, so we both decided to have some fun while riding. We started at 8:00 AM in the morning of 24\6\2010, steadily cruising at 80-90kmph the weather was just quite perfect for a ideal ride. We both were experiencing the coolness of every breeze, and ofcourse, the bike was exceptionally calm, unstrained and damn stable! Passing through towns and villages soon we stopped at a chai-shop at roadside. This was 120kms from Indore that we took our 1st break(10:00 AM). Clicked some pictures, had some tea & we were ready again to continue. There was nothing much that I can convey because it’s a feeling that cannot be explained. Riding again at continues 90-100kmph we took no time to cover another 40kms, which was decided as our 2nd break for breakfast at 10:30AM. Had some Samosas, drained-out ourselves and clicked some pictures. Carrying out this things, we were again on the plan tarmac. Reached Bhopal at 11:15 AM and then carried out the work. I was waiting for his work to finish, as I could’nt resist myself watching the vehicle parked at the lot.

Finally, at 2:30 PM he finished and we were ready to escape for Indore. We did’nt had lunch, till then. So, decided to have it at some place in the middle, i.e 80kms away a government motel. The Sun was shining like it was enjoying frying us in the pan. We both had some nimbu-pani (5 glasses, for me) before we left. Riding for some 1.5 hour took us to the motel. We both were hungry, I ate up 2 Rice plates in no time and other to had the same. We finished our lunch and started again, after some 30kms there was a group of goats crossing the road. We were at 80kmph and I was talking to my friend and suddenly relised that the group was so close to come to a safe stop! Damn…. I was frieghtened… SLAMMED the front brakes DAMN!!! Hard and the front did not bobbeled (I have a special expertise in front brakes) and the bike came to a halt. Phissss… was my feeling at that time, looked at the group of goats and then scolded myself that why the hell I am looking at them. They are supposed to behave like that!

3rd free servicing is done 3 days ago..
1.handle's been tighten...clutch is now lowered, so it has become more comfortable.
2.asked to resolve issue related to reserve point...although fuel nob's been changed the problem still persists.
3.asked to tighten headlight assembly...not done
4.asked to align the focus (it was pointing to left and as usual to heavens)...was told to replace lampshade which costs 190.
so until I don't buy new lampshade problem 3 and 4 are going to remain.
5. Bike has become smoother.
6. more efficient combustion...less misfire...less noise.
7. NO AFR and idle tuning has done as per my request...bike's acceleration has increased.
8. Gear shifting has become more bless-full....Oil has not been changed as per my request...still using motul 5100 from last 2500 km...I have bought motul 300 though (Rs. 850)
(Suggestion needed : if I'm getting pick performance from current oil, should I change it or not? Isn't will it be wast of money if I change? (motulwala was shocked when I told him some do change more frequently than required) Anyway when I do change the engine oil I'm considering engine flush...which one to use and approx cost...boodhol engine flush is available at service center at Rs110...Is it worth that much?)
9. Millage : I had filled 9.11 liter petrol and till now it has ran 410 km on same petrol so calculate
10. SC guy presented very well...I'm satisfied with work has been done...at the end of day I made a good friend...got chai nashta from SC..
11. I'm going back this weekend to change lampshade...as the bike headlight has little bruising, 190rs has to paid for the work.

if your headlight focus not falling on road then you to change beam adjustment screw situated behind headlight...if it isn't horizontally aligned too then you might have to change lampshade (that's what SC guy told me and I'm going to try that)...you might get lampshade changed in warrantyOriginally posted by andy118 View Posthey locker buddy...anup here..i too hav d same problem regarding hedlight beam yar..plz tell me wat to do ?? how to adjust it?? and it shud b lowered also...any suggestions?? guys??
