well,well lot of engineers here,iam an IT student

@abhi---dont u feel that the yellow tape you've put on on ur rims is stealing the glam from ur bike?
some where in my mind there is a feeling that,after intalling those tapes,my bike is looking like a normal bike,.the bold ness it had has lost due to these tapes, pure black sounds more loud than this.

well if u gonna go for servicing after 4 months than u will lose ur warranty, becuz acc. to manual all 4 services should be carried within 240 days or 8 months after date os sales. so better go for servicing tommorow itself..
i am too goin to 3rd service of ma bike tommorow.

pls tell me , do they really look ugly as many of my colleagues have told me the same thing..

if itz so then i will go for white RIM tapes in a different style, but i need RIMs on my alloys

i bought bike in July and I will be back from pune by February...it will be 210 days

. Moreover SC guys never check date of purchase they only check ODO.

itz better to do our job on time and donot depend on SC guyz,if ur too busy then just try to drop the bike to SC. and if itz too not possible than ask ur friend to do so, if that's not possible than ask ur father to doso , if that's not possible ask ur brother to do so and if that too is not possible than i will come to ur city and doit for u seriously.

when i installed that yellow tape,it looked good,but as the days passed bcoz the ugly roads ,it wears a dusty look and the alloy also becomes dirty,and it doesn't suit well
the yellow tapes will look good only if the alloys are clean and the bike should also be clean,so that it can be highlighted, yellow on pure black would be excellent, but for that,we have to clean the bike daily,and thts not possible

since u have made up ur mind to have a tape on ur alloy,stick with the yellow instead,dont go for the white ones,...after some time it will look like a silver colour ,due to the dust that accumulates on the alloy,and ur bike will look like p150 ug3 with black engine

iam looking forward to change the tapes,i love to keep the alloys naked as earlier

my friends told the same thing,so i tried to look from their point of view ,and i felt that they are right

otherwise,if at all a tape is needed,be sure to make it as thin as possible ,the tape should not dominate the black colour,but black should
it should like a streak of line on pure black

Mine is a Red P180 2005.. It still manages to cross 115kmph and returns 38-45kmpl.. And it hasn't given me a single major problem in so many years..

one question to u: how do u maintain the shine of ur bike? which wax do u use?

i use F1 wax ,but the shine fades away within 2-3 days

hehe ...seems you love every 180UG4 very much...but nothing can be done from all these options...hoping that i get back by february and get 3rd as well as 4th service with in a week time..

Congratulations on ur new ride and welcome to the club. I too own a red beast.its super cool.just follow the speed restrictions till 2k kms and u ll have a good output.

just got the bike delivered from SC.
it clocks 4100kms on ODO and no major problem except tappet noise which i got set.
just one thing those stupid SC guyz poured in 1100ml of oil in my bike, now i am worried if they overfilled it.pls help with that

i use the same wax(F1) it depends on how you wax your bike and how much wax do you use.
my shine goes away in 5-6days and therefore i wash my bike every sunday with "F1 shine and wax" and then apply wax on it. hoping pics of ur bike.

maximum output in terms of average than try to ride it as smooth as you can. andremember one thing

There used to be an auto saloon in Delhi which is now shut.. The guy working over there told me that the wax polish should not be used that often as it dulls out the paint.. Liquid polish should be used on regular basis, n believe me it brings an amazing shine to the bike..
