                • Hello guys...I bought new Pulsar 180 ug4 on 17th of this month...Couldn't post earlier bcause this site didn't allow me to (don't know why)...
BTW...I read all 90 pages from this thread before buying this bike ( which took me almost a day to read!!!)...
...till now the odometer has clocked 230kms...have never driven it above 50 kmph except once on highway where I couldn't resist myself..reached 68 kmph for couple of seconds....

Firstly my mind was set on the pulsar 150 but many reviews about p180 on the internet n additional features available with p180 made my mind to buy it...

I bought it in Chinchwad..The showroom gave option to select any p180 from their stock of about 10 p180s..I bought mine whose odometer was clocked only 1 km, it was newest of their stock also it was well preserved from the raining (unlike others).

I haven't faced any problems by now..just there is an issue with headlight which was focused initially at horizon n upper or highway focus ( or whatever u call it ) was pointing at nowhere. So I showed my bike to SC guy who lowered the focus and now its pointing on road. Well there is no problem with upper focus but the lower focus is bit tilted..meaning the bowl shaped highlight (seen on the road) is bit rotated clockwise, so left side of highlight goes far than right side..Its not highly noticeable though..SC guy told me that he will have to open visor to rectify it..I will do it on first service....nothing else

This p180 is the smoothest bike I have ever ridden till now...Im very happy with it...Its very hard to keep speed below 50 kmph...

The things I like most :
As im 5'11'' sitting position is damn perfect for me..Still I haven't had back pain (which I used to had on other bikes)
Other bikes (even bullets karizmas cbzs) from traffic get easily smoked off by me within(4000k)
Front braking + rear breaking = damn gr8 breaking in any circumstances.
Auto canceling indicators which get cancelled automatically when I complete turning..meaning they r intelligent.
One more thing is that engine sound is inaudible..believe me or not I can hear engine sound from Unicorn passing nearby but not my own bike's!!
                  Stylish looks!!
                  n many other things !!

LOL just remembered, I have never checked tire pressures till now..gotta check it tomorrow

My bike easily touches 54kmph at 4000rpm

Guys should I do Teflon coating?..SC offering it at 490rs. with 2 free coatings later..they use 3M for teflon coating

you re very caring then if ur self cancelling indicators are working fine...
it didnot work for me and i donot care if it donot works becuz sometimes it switches off when i donot want it too as i didnot cross road sometimes and it switches off which increases chances of accidents.. and i would rather advice bajaj to rebuild the pushing switches (which came with classic pulsars) ,, those switches were very good to work on.. but this new switches are screwinggggggggg

Might be ,, but i thought it tobe from DMC..

you can go for teflon coating if u do want.. but when i purchased the bike the SC guyz did it for me for 250rs.. and other better option is buy a good wax polish and apply it yourself..

well ma bike touches 55 at same RPm..
