      well the first day report...
      bike's noticeably smoother than pulsars of yore...feels eager to go into higher gears...waitin for run in to be completed...DC lighting and self cancelling indicators are to be appreciated...it was soft over potholes...tyres are grippier...bike has a good solid feel...had few issues findin the neutral..but its fine now jus i guess jus a small touch is required to get the green N beacon glowing rather than a decent shove..the light for the number plate is something i found pretty cool..willl continue providing inputs...
      its always been hard to find neutral on pulsrz..and that light for the no plate is not new it was there in ug3 aneways enjoy the new varaint of 180

          Hi guys... i just finished 200km in my 180 ug4...... No complaints..... No strains..... It been moving smooth always..... I have a doubt.... will the power start work at every situation???.... i mean in rainy seasons....

              well actually speaking i felt that the stock headlamp is more than sufficient,its decently bright and lights up the road well

              @harish: well i guess that owned is a typo

              well for that new lamp there aren't many changes needed

              1st of all wat do u want a higher watt bulb or a hid?

              this bike comes in with 12v/9amp exide maintenance free battery

              ++++++ DC electricals(all lightsetc. are powered directly by the battery)

              so for a new bulb

              the stock is a 35watt
              options-u can go in for a 55watt or any other branded 35watt- just open the front casing and plonk in the bulb

              HID- the hid kit comes in with all the required items buy the kit and any mechanic there would fix the kit for a 100 bucks.

                    Classic Pulsars (since 2001) can be still seen on roads.. so you can expect a long life. Maintenance cost on Bajaj bikes is less as the spare cost is comparitively less.

                    The Pulsars have improved in quality and build over the years and the latest UGIV version is definitely the most improved and refined of the lot.

                    Anyway the life of an automobile also depends on how it has been maintained and taken care of.. best of luck.

                      hmmm thats a typical one..it depends on you how to maintain the bike..ie. adhering to RUN-IN procedures,timely servicing..and all..as far as you maintain the bike this way,i believe that there should not be any problem showing up...well as far as maintainance is concerned bajaj spares for 180 is cheap ..dead cheap compared others..

                          I had owned P150 uG2. maintainence was damn cheat.
                          Rs 200 (Oil)
                          Rs 200 labour for full service. servicing done.

                          i dint spend a Rupee other than oil for 3 years until it required sprocket change

                            the pricing varies heavily
                            china ones start from 1700 onwards and the branded ones can set you back by as much as 6k to 8k.

                            advantages:
                            bright whitish,bluish light
                            disadvantages:
                            price
                            MAY drain the battery(remember our bikes do not even have a kick rod so we need to keep good care of our battery)

                                guyz the downpayment is 34k,n wil get a loan amount of 45k from the showroom..the interest rate is 9.99%!!!
                                One of my friend said if we apply for a loan directly from a bank,the interest rate will be around 4-5%....and he asked me to take loan of 45k from the bank + 34 downpayment and make the full payment in the showroom....and pay installments in the bank!!

                                I dont know anything about this loan stuff.!!Anyone help me if we can reduce the interest rate
