I have no clue about the water. Moreover, pls consider the fact that my bike is 2yrs old.
The dirt is nothing but accumulated dirt. and its looks brownish even though the bike is washed every week.
Thats why i was thinking of SHOE POLISH

Could someone throw some light on this???

My friend, living in Cbe dosen't mean that i bathe, wash, clean, drink everything in Siruvani water, i'm too living in outskirts and i too have problems with hard water, just get water softner if available or leave ur bike in service centre where they do body wash with water that has water softener!!! btw. shoe polish will not help much other than tyres!!

I was kidding about the entire siruvani part man.
The water here is good, but the rains are too bad in Bangalore.
I used shoe polish for the tyres but i dint like it. I am using 3M tyre polish now. Its good.

another question for u, where did u get ur rims painted, i mean there is something small written in white on the mag wheel.
did u do it urself of is it reflective stickering??? it looks damn neat.

It's just stickering man, named "ENKEI TUNED" just those poser words!!!

btw, now i've changed back to reflective lemon yellow rim tapes and it looks even better!!!! Now here too it's raining like cats & dogs man, spending every odd day washing her!!!! It's a painful process, but thats the only way to retain her beauty!!!

That k&N sticker didn't melt for me man, but unfortunately i had to change the silencer under warranty for leaks. So, it went off with that!! regarding the tyres, my bike is running on IRC's. Pretty damn good till they touch gravel and some loose sand!!!

Hi, How much does these reflective rim tapes costs?

What color suits best for the Blue pulsar?

I'm facing another issue.. Need help
Mileage has gone down to almost 38kmpl

after the first service (before first service she gave me 42kmpl). Will carb ckeaning and tuning at the service center help??

pulsar180 ug4 finally arrived today my 1st bike

hello friends,
i Have managed to bring my pulsar 180 ug4 home.The bike is black in color and have only driven it 50kms from 4pm today to 9pm.But, since i bought the bike the rpm is not going below 2k even in idle i think it is setted by dealer only . i want to know is it a problem or everything is just ok

Irregular RPMs are okay for a new engine. Just wait for the first service to complete.

Am planning to take my bike to the service center tomorrow and tell them about the dip in mileage...
Please guys let me what specific things needs to be checked out.

Man, The reflective rim tape costed me around 190 Bucks for both the wheels and for blue pulsar, i think reflective white will suit it's looks or the same lemon yellow!! Regarding the mileage, what ur getting after the first service is the final that almost every bike sticks to!!

does any one know the method of checking oil level in p180 ug4,becuz
in my old pulsar the engine oil cap itself showed the oil level, but in new one there is a glass which indicates oil level but i cannot see any oil in it.

Dude, if ur bike is put in side stand, it eventually show no oil sign as the oil tends to drain towards the other side. Just put ur bike in centre stand and check the oil glass window, u can see the glass in red colour, means there is enough oil, u should be worried only when u find the oil level is reduced to half or something like that.
