    Dude, if ur bike is put in side stand, it eventually show no oil sign as the oil tends to drain towards the other side. Just put ur bike in centre stand and check the oil glass window, u can see the glass in red colour, means there is enough oil, u should be worried only when u find the oil level is reduced to half or something like that.
    sorry but i didnt see any red oil although there is a red line there,but my bike isn't started since last night

      Red Line I don't know, must be a low oil level indicator. If ur bike is new and if it has come from service just make sure u check the oil level with a dip stick, so that u can atleast be in peace leaving all this glass window indicatrs and indications behind. There will absolutely no problem with the bike if it's not started and stuff!!!

        ooops soory guys i was checking oil level at wrong place, there are two glass indicators on new pulsar one for timing and one for oil, i found the oil level ok it was just touching the mark,at first i was checking at timing adjust glass..

          you will find two etch marks on the border of the glass window on e for min and other max

          and the other window is of the magneto assembly i guess(well that's what the sc guy said!)

                      Guyz,i searched a lot for the helmet lock...but couldnt find it in the bike!!
                      then one of ma friend said there's no helmet lock for pulsar's!!is that true??
                      Can we buy a new one and fix ??

                        yes there isn't any helmet lock provided with the vehicle

                        i bought one for RS 90/- and got it attached onto the saree guard.

                        well for that matter no bike gives you a proper helmet lock
                        even if you have those are the types in which u'll have to just pass your helmet strap through
                        (well this is completely useless owing to the fact that the strap can be easily cut or removed.)

                          The Pulsar's don't come with Helmet locks.. You can fit ones which are sold as after market accessories.. it should fit on the crashguard or the saree guard.

                              when does the red light come on for reserve actually....my gauge had a few ticks but the red light came on when vehicle was stationary..after starting off it went off in a few secs...does it happen usually...sv guy told when bike is in reserve the gauge shows empty...

                                well the sc guy told me when 4lt are left in the tank the red light glows

                                and for the other part ,it's bound to happen as petrol from the other half of the tank may spill in hence these inconsistencies
