i think it can be fitted, but you may not get better performance than original P180 silencer. it should cost you in between 1500-2500rs(approx +-500rs)..Originally posted by shaheen View PostComment

after service check for oil firstly in oil indicator.. ask them if they have filled correct grade oil 20W50..
check auto cutoff side indicators,all lights,horn..
run the bike and look for any new noises after service...
last but most important is tell them before service to clean oil filter and ask for the same at delivery time....Comment

I use kill switch to switch off the bike at red lights. Is this gonna effect my bike or should i use the key to do that???Comment

guys i met an accident today with my bike,
it was raining, roads were slippery when i applied front brake bike got skid and bham!!!! down on road..
visor scratched,engine guard got bent. and a serious problem after accident when i checked self it was making different sound while starting bike....
so, went to SC asked them about prices visor=700-800rs,headlight was more than 1000rs,..
i doubt because i asked SC mechanic and not the shop guy..
will go to SC on saturday and will claim for insurance, the mechanic said that i have to go to insurance company and there all photos,... willbe completed,.. i want to ask that, whether i have to go to insurance company or just give bike to SC and they will take up all things i mean insurance company will send surveyorComment

Haven't any of u stayed in the service centre during the service?
My bike P180UG3 has clocked 20000km and I have servied the bike like 8 times now?? All the time I have stayed there and personally made sure that everything is done properly.
consider this example:
In Chennai, the Bajaj Service centre mechanic is given a Target of servicing 10-13 bikes every day( castrol bike zone mechanic gets 3 bikes per day).
Imagine leaving ur bike behind and coming and picking it up in the evening.
They would have washed it and polished it. Lubricated. engine oil changed(maybe) and if ur unlucky the engine oil change would have only been a Top-Up( which is not recommended).

i can tell you the xact prices of all the damaged items because xactly same kind of crash happened to me(on a rainy day applied front brakes to avoid accident with another bike, bike slipped on right side and then same damage as yours) claimed for insurance for the same.. got the insurance amount as well and it was really disgusting to see the amount as it was not even half of my expenses.Comment

my bike too met with an accident some days back.Tried to claim for insurance.Went to the insurance office and collected a form.But i left it as the SVG said itz not worthy to claim insurance for such a small accident.
I got my crash guard and foot-rest repaired during first service.
They did something like BUFFERING to remove scratches from the head light.It costed 150bucksComment
