its natural, this happens to most of the vehicles when mud+water comes in their contact and rest is filled by oxygen this al results in rust.
these types of rust patches are common and does not affect vehicles\brake performance in anyway.. donot worry about it just accept it as a part of your bike.....

see if you donot have anypther option then you can use used engine oil.
but it has its own disadvantages, used engineoil contains tiny metal parts which can worn out sprockets.. though in normal conditions not a huge damage. but why use it when you can buy 500ml of gearoil which will last for very extended period of time..

Which color is your bike?? If black get lemon yellow (1st preference) or white... (But if I remember correctly you have a red one)

Even I got 35kmpl after 1st service if I rode insane.. But never got above 38.. So took it to Popular @ BG road and got mileage checked on the dyno and then made the guy tune my bike and again checked on dyno.. now I'm getting 38kmpl if I ride in the non-economic zone else its around 42kmpl when checked last...

hey dude....mine is blue colour....i am going with the same tape that u got for ur bike....the white ones.....
