I think the visor costs around 450Rs and it's better to change the visor rather than painting over the scratches..what say?Comment

Hi Guys wanted to post this long back but you know better late than never...
My Bikes 2 months old now... 2350km on the odo..
Post 2nd service...
The RPM needle just slids up even faster now.. Engine sounds superb..
My mileage had gone down
but then got it tuned.. When last checked got 42kmpl and I'm happy with this number
Had been on a ride to DD hills after 2nd service (110km one side)..
She felt stable at all the curves and bends I took her..
No complains from end

Not a heavy tourer..but I travel to office everyday which is around 30km to and fro so that makes it around 800km in a month plus the weekends milap with friends.. and yes I've been on two trips so tat sums up the 2.3k km run...Originally posted by abhichotu.abhi View Post

bikes milage varies between 40-45kmpl
i got a little doubt....whats the top speed of the bike????
because i havent crossed 105kmph yet....i didnt get free roads to rage the bike past 105kmph

one month to my bike will complete on 13th of this month i would like to know that whether i can go for 1st service before that mine has clocked
550kms.
i am also going to fit a HID on my bike will it void my warrnty.
i am also getting one problem in my bike
" whenever the bike is OFF and is in gear, i press starter button, ofcourse bike will not start, i didnot start it by pulling clutch but shift into nuetral then again i press starter button, but no response from bike it does not start i.e nothing happens. but after 5-10 secs i again push button but this time it starts or i have to remove key and reinsert itLast edited by abhichotu.abhi; 08-07-2009, 06:49 PM.Comment

The Manual says like this :
1st Free Service
Valid for 500 to 750Kms or 30-45 Days.
(From the date of sale whichever occurs earlier)
The best way to start your bike is to make the gear in neutral and then press the starter button.Or else,compress the clutch and try pressing the starter button.Make sure that the engine kill switch is off

When bike doesn't start even when kill switch is off then turn it off through key and on it again . No need to take out the key.Comment

i've seen 126 on speedo. the bike easily touches 112 given 1 km or so stretch in city. generally while going to work i race her up near tukaram chowk on bombay- pune every morning. i get about 900-1000 metres of highway coming out of the subway crossing and taking her to tukaram chowk. get 112 every morning easythen have to decelerate as it's a 90 degree bend and always infested with auto rikshawsComment
