    Nice Pics..

    if possible keep the bike covered when parked. Usually kids have a tendency to pull the Pulsar & Bajaj logo off the tank. Has happened to me before

      Yeah.. thats what I do since I'm always paranoid that someone (kids) would leave a scratch on the tank... (Has happened to my gladi before) or pull off the logo...
      Using an old bedsheet as a temporary solution but I need to buy a tarpauline cover for the bike... Ones at bajaj showroom costs approx Rs 325/- any idea if this is the right price?

        325/- is not a big investment if you consider that two sets (for both left & right side) of the Pulsar and Bajaj Logos cost approximately Rs.600.

          Agreed.. Just wanted to know if the showroom rate is OKAY or is it on the expensive side.. I just had no idea..

            ^^^ Showrooms are almost always more expensive! If its just an ordinary tarpauline cover you want, you should be able to get one for around Rs. 100/- ...in fact a bit less than that too, depending on where you buy. But make sure you check the size, stitches, waterproof capability of the material, etc., before buying.

              added 100ml more valvoline oil and guess what all vibes have disappeared now the bike revs smoothly also speeds have gone up a bit

              actually while cleaning my bike noticed that the oil level was low
              so thought of jus ttopping up since 1st service is close(482km on odo) .
              now i've started loving the bike even more.

              guys does anyone of u have an idea as to put a saree guard with a leg stand on this bike?

                So all the vibes was due to the low oil quantity ... Good that you figured it out...Have a great time now....

                Not a great fan of Saree guard that too on the PULSAR

                  yes no 24km vibes nothing!! the bike now reaches 26km at 4k previously only 24km.

                  and for that saree guard actually i need it coz my mother feels uncomfortable ,she sits sideways and there isn't any leg stand she has to keep her legs in air.

                    hi guys..after long deliberations and reading through ur posts ive finally decided to purchase the new UG4 180...as this is my first bike i like u guys to give me a list of points ive to check while taking delivery to ensure i pick the best machine...im an automobile engineering student but still i would like opinions from all u guys here to learn about its pros and cons.. what are the accessories which come standard with the vehicle....pls enlighten me..

                      ^^^^congrats good decision which colour? when is the delivery?

                      while delivery: first see the engine oil level
                      run the engine and try to hear any abnormal noise from the engine
                      look for external scratches etc.
                      air pressure
                      paper work

                      accessories which i got: saree guard crash guard are default.

                      on additional payment u may get : tank,seat cover, side handle,helmet lock,helmet,teflon coat etc.
                      ^^^these vary from dealer to dealer

                          @gokul and gene boy....Thank u guys...im from chennai....decided on a red one as the showroom guy told the blue will be available only on order...i guess il get the baby by this month end cos of delay in bookin....pretty good demand for this bike....stocks running out thick and fast...

                              Guys Bajaj company is not going to sleep in the market

                              Guys I saw this bike one of the showroom I know. Its not exactly a showroom. Its a stock yard I think. Actually it was supposed to be in MG Road showroom bangalore. Bajaj will hit back yamaha. It is going to give tough challenege to yamaha and hero honda. I am really proud bajaj thinking in this direction. Check this video.

                                seems like some kind of a mod job man!!!! and moreover the fairing is that of an R15 and also see the gear shifters, its UG3's. The bike is not even the close to UG4 with normal shifters and chain covers and the classic grab rails...... seems a rumor, it's just a mod job
