    • guys i feel that my bike has low lowend and vibs are noticeable in almost all gears.

wat about ur ones also gear shifting was a bit stiff today

guys tell me wat speeds ur able to go in various gears at 4k rpm mine:

      1: 16
      2: 24
      3: 33
      4: 47
      5: 55

also the turning radius is tooooooo huge for comfort 360km on odo and still not adjusted.

guys has anyone of you had shoulder pain on continuous 15-20km ride

@neelshekhar-congrats man same pinch on the colour!!

@purja-hey i've understood the petrol mystery see i noticed the same in mine too it happens due to the large width of the tank which shows up as a small fall in the neck.

Wow.. that is all i could say when I rode it for the first time from the showroom.. The adrenaline rush, the heart thumping plus the excitement all of it was just awesome....

This one is sure an eye-catcher...

The gear shift is smooth & precise. No false Neutral
The bike picks up really sweetly and engine feels smooth very very smooth..
The Bike has a good sporty feel to it. The seats holds you well and gives a good riding comfort.
Handling is really good... I personally felt good at corners..
The key looks great and seems like it is computer coded just as for the 220
When everything comes ur way, u r in the wrong way ;)

Discounts are Dealer Specific.. i.e if they wish to cut down on their margin.

i didnt feel the vibes at all gears but at around 60kmph the rpm needle vibrates but still shows a constant rmp 0f 5

                    • hey Gokul thanks man yeah must be the wide tank. because as you go the fuel meter starts dropping very rapidly.

the average figures i have now are 42 and 39. mixed driving.

the turning radius is a pain. real pain. thinking of removing the scoops and the shortening the limiter on the front fork. will miss the scoops but the radius is dangerous and very uncomfortable.

removing the tank scoops wont improve ur turning radius buddy.....u have to do a lot of mods for that

I have a 2005 P180 DTSi stock, which has run 24000 kms and since 2 months the bike is heating up a lot( heats up if I ride it for 100m from the cold state and I get a burning smell near the engine)...
The pick up has reduced and bike really begs not to rev past the 5000 rpm...
Also I havent changed the spark plugs till now and the plugs arent worn out and the fuel mixture is neither too lean or rich...

I have checked the oil level and it is fine and just to convince myself even replaced it with a Castrol 4T Xtra (20W50) grade as recommended in the manual and the problem persists...

A mechanic said that one of the gears has worn out and hence it is heating up, he said the clutch plate assembly is fine...

                          1) Is it possible that the piston or the piston rings are damaged also? (This is my guess due to the burn smell from the engine)

                          2) Is it possible that one of the gears has actually worn out and hence the heating issue and also i can ride the bike, inspite of a worn out gear

PS: The Clutch plate side(right side) and the magnetic coil (left side) gets hot too...but the exhaust pipe doesnt heat up..

I have also started a thread on the same issue in the HELP ME section.
                          Loking for some sincere advice...

                          Cheers,
                          Ajay
i think you should check out the coil side as pulsars have a dry type i.e oil is not circulated to the coils unlike most hondas where oil is circulated to the coils too hereby aiding in cooling.

                                as per the manual

                                1st 1000 kms then 1000 to 2000 kms

                                1st gear 15 kmph 20 kmph

                                2nd 30 40

                                3rd 45 55

                                4th 55 65

                                5th 65 75

therefore i have touched at max 70kmph till now
