    yes i also try the same method but sometimes the BAJAJ gearbox becomes so stiff that i have to shift it very hard which makes 99% posibility of it shifting into 2nd gear...

    one more thing i had to add that most of the times it happened only when i am on a uphill pavement ,it seems that all of the oil on the uphill shifts backwrds from the gearbox so gearbox has no oil for lub.. and therefore problem arises,,itz just my desi theory

      guyz ! ever wondered why pulsars ans some other bikes have pilot lamps? i didnt find any use except for litting the speedo when the light is not too dark and not too bright..ie evening time..and for style of course
      but pulsar's pilot are put in most stylish way..it adds aggresiveness and brings character to the bijke

        not only few bike but almost all of the bikes today have pilot lamps, and they are there as warning lights.

        but the most stylish of all pilot lamps i have seen is of P220.

            well warning lights (itz my thought), because when you stand on the side of a road at night then you cannot use headlight all of the times to make the oncoming/going traffic aware of you being present in side of road , and if u keep those headlights ON then it will hinder oncoming vehicle visibility so now comes Warning lights they very nicely provides a warning to oncoming of your vehicle being there and at the same time it doesnnot hinders the visibility

              well, i use sidelights often to indicate my presence,now that u have said that,i'll use my pilot lamps...it would look like eys of a wolf waiting for its prey in pitch dark

                turn ON those pilot lamps and your prey will never be attracted to your bike..

                AFAIK, you reside outside the city chennai... how far it is from the main city..(i am askin this becuz almost all of ur pics seems to be taken in some alone place)

                  CHENNAI??? what made u think like that? i reside in a small town some 90km away from hyderabad.. where my college is located..
                  yes i take the photoshoot outside my town..hardly 10km and you're out of the town

                    opss!! sorry i was a bit confused , so itz hyd., i just want to convey wherever u stay i like the places where u took the pictures , there was not a single living being (other than ur bike) in the pics, and i like lone places very much!!, but unfortunately i reside in city and doesnot like it very much.. i only want peace peace and my P180

                    BTW , i am impressed with you, as you take ur bike 10kms away for itz modeling photoshoot...

                          @ur computer problem,, why are u buying PCI card , for playing games ,, if so then go for a 256MB card the one 8800....(as u mentioned) is too a 256MB not a 512 MB.(itz only a show thingy)

                            yes my bike has automatically resolved the tappet issue,when i was abt to take it to the SC

                            no dude ,itz a 512 MB check nvidia site it has both 256 and 512

                              only 256MB of a 512 MB graphics card is actually used while playing games 512MB is itz maximum capacity out of which 256MB is consumed in system

                                so if u buy 256MB then only 128MB should be available as a heap.. ??

                                thats not true dude,yes it pre-allocates some amount of memory but not that much
