the insurance guy is correct... the details of what's covered and what's not is clearly stated in the 'Terms of Claim' section.

which insurance company are u insured by?
if its Bajaj Allianz, the entire process is cashless.

all you'd have to do is pay the difference.

The SC guy will give you the estimate of the repairs, there by listing each part and it's cost in the quotation that you will submit to the insurance company. By seeing the parts and their prices quoted, further you can confirm the prices at spares part section of SC.

        Thanks.
thanks abhi...all the process is done now....now i'm just waiting to get my hands on my GF...missing her very much...its almost 1 week now....

The problem of No reserve has been taken care of. Also right pilot bulb which blew up was replaced.
Also done Teflon coating...Bike's shining like new one.
The issue regarding headlight hasn't been solved because it's got little bruising on it so it isn't under warranty anymore. They suggested me to get new headlight assembly which costs 1100 or ~750 under insurance.

Anyway what do I have to do to replace my 35W with 55W or 75W bulb (mostly 75W)? I mean I asked in SC about this thing and they said there isn't anything to change in bike's electrical and I could fit 75W bulb right away but they also said that it might damage BCU in future.

How did the problem solved? And I donot think that there is any 75W bulb in market (Indian). You can try 55\60W bulb it has a nice illumination and is compatible with our electricals.

fuel lock replaced with new one third time and voila....
I'm considering putting an HID but it seems to be out of budget for now.
I reckon pulsar ug4 is the most perfect and ready for such conversion than any other bike in the market. It already has full DC with maintenance free 9AH battery. what else you need?

How much time did your engine take to start leaking after you switched to Motul?

another thing where can I get headlight and pilot glasses ? SC doesn't sell glasses separately we have to change whole headlight assembly.
How much do those glasses cost ?

I don't think that these glasses are available separately or sold separately. You will have to buy whole headlight assembly. But, why do you want that? I still have scratches on my bikes mask and headlight, and I have learned to live with them.

They charged you for the work done, so no need of KUDOS formality for the SC guys. You paid for the job, that's it, it is almost new now.
