    About the AIR COOLED sticker, one of the pulsars in my coleg already have that.So not doing again.The monster is green and my bike is blue, wont match.
    But thank u both for your suggestions..i liked both..
    i want to design something myself. I stuck some stickers on my helmet that i made myself. Il post pics as soon as i get my hands on my pc.
    Rider turned driver, aspiring to ride again.

      Hi guyz ! I have been a silent member watching the proceedings of the thread until i experienced a problem !

      Last week when i went to ECR in chennai along with my friends.. when i was riding @ a speed of 100 kmph, suddenly recognized a speed breaker in front of me
      but fortunately didnt put the brake and ran over it . Thank god nothing happened ! Then i refilled air in both my tires. But suddenly 3-4 days back i am feeling the rear shock (or the front one .. not sure) is very hard on my back. I seriously doubt my shocks although they seem to be good ! I wanna know is the problem because of air (i kept 28 at front and 32 at rear at shell petrol bunk) or is that because of faulty shocks ?

      Also i have left my bike for first service at 500 kms. and now its about 2000 kms ! Should i change the oil. And i feel the gear box has become pretty rough ! So should i take my bike to the service center ?

      please reply quick as i can leave my bike for service tomorrow ! Thanks GUYZ...

        @karthikus: if u are experiencing pain in your lower back it might be cos u rammed into a speed braker at 100kmph =P
        Also i'm assuming the bike is new... u should definitely not be riding at 100kmph in the first few months.
        And yes, oil changes in the early days are quite frequent.... check the owners manual for details regarding how frequently u need to change oil.

          what's the reserve capacity of p180? 3.2 ltr, 2ltr ? so how long bike should go on reserve?

            3.2ltr is the point where bike hits reserve, out of that 3.2ltr, 2ltr can be used to ride the bike. In my style of riding, in reserve, bike should travel another 100kms.

                That remains in the tank and cannot be used as the fuel straw inside the tank is above the level of that 1.2 ltr petrol.

                  Today i checked the mileage pf my beast in the following way. Got to a nearby mech shop and got the can which contains the markings in 100,200 ml upto 1 litre. Filled in 100 ml of petrol in that can and connected it to the point where the tube from the petrol tank is connected to the fuel supply unit, I travelled 5 kms when the bike stopped ! So i traveled 5 kms in 100ml. So my mileage wud be 50 kms right?

                    For short-term basis that method is okay. But, in regular bash to bash traffic, it is difficult to achieve that figure. BTW, testing with 100ml petrol does not makes sense, you should test mileage with atleast 3ltrs of petrol.

                      alright...my assumptions were correct. I have changed petrol lock a month back. now bike is coming to reserve to early even before that red led on console turns on. And it travels hefty 200 km in reserve. . I think this new :? petrol lock is not meant for pulsars ?

                        I own a Pulsar 180cc bike.I stay in bangalore.I looking to modify my bike and add full fairing to it.Can you guys please suggest which is the best place in bangalore for this to be done?
                        Suzuki GS150R(Balck) 2009- 2012
                        Yamaha R15 V2(LE white) 2012 and Honda Dio V2 Matte

                          Hello guys,

                          Just bought my bike back after 2 days in the service center. All the required parts were changed except cone-set, due to unavailability. Heck!! the khat-khat sound is increasing day by day and the cone-set is due for replacement.......

                          Anyway, the total bill was of 890 Rs + 270 Rs oil. And the bike is as new as it was when I got my very first hands on her.

                          Well!!!! I meant that in 2 ltrs of reserve my bike travels 100kms, since out of 3.2 ltrs only 2 ltrs is usable fuel. And if your bike does the 200kms mark in 2 ltrs then sell it to me for 1Lac Rs.

                          For full fairing you will have to buy those chinese cheap fairings, which never suits any bike. You can look at 'green mean' machine of Xionite on the below thread, the most neat mod on a Pulsar I have ever seen, till now:

                            No yaar I meant that bike is finding reserve too early that's because of new petrol lock.
