    • Update:
Just gave my bike for the 4th time to SC for same oil leakage problem. This time i blasted on them as i was really irritated visiting SC again and again.

This is the only trail and error method used so far.

You cannot change LED's but you can try sticking a coloured transparent film of the color of your choice, i suspect that it is the best method.

It went above my expectations when I put it in at first servicing

Use Motul or OKS chain lube for chain lube...
Motul 3000 comes in "15w50" also, i have only seen it in "20w40" avataar.

BTW, I bought this Penzoil sae90 half liter can for 89...anyone know this brand?
Plz, donot try to remove and clean spark plug by your own becuz one didnot know how to adjust the spark plug gap.

No matter which brand you use just get the right grade.

@everybody-guys i still haven't cleared wit my doubt.Pls Give a perfect suggestion. My bike's done 2100kms but the SC guy didn't change the oil(had put castrol power1 during 1st service). He told me to run my bike 1000 more kms for next oil change.Should i oblige that??I'm confused.Help me if ur damn sure...
My last advice to you "Do change the oil right now if you didnot want to turn your bike into a crapy one."

I think that oil is too much viscous to be sprayed, you can only 'apply' it.

Analog tacho bike LEd color can be changed, just open it or take it to a '' meter repair shop" and ask him for the same.

        • Thanks guys.. somehow my doubts are being cleared.. but will check whether my bike give resistance while shifting towards reserve (as normal scenario is) was worried as the red LED light blinks many times frequently....

One more thing to trouble.. somewhere i was reading that one guy want to have softcompound tyres for his p200.. so just thought to ask whether the stock tyres in our P180 are softwcompound or not .. "I guess no" So can we fix softcompound tyres say 130/90-18 T our beast..if yes then which would be best one. in terms of performance, grip (dry+wet) no harassement to engine or drop in mileage pl append the list if omitted anything he he lol

            • For those who want to fit "oil cooler" in their bikes, i have found a member on xbhp who has done so with pics. He has a UG4 180, but i didnot know why he did not appeared on this thread. He is foolsworldus.

P180 UG4 has 'Hard comp.' tyres.
The stock ones(120 i guess) have already "Killed" the bike's pick-up and now you are going in for 130.
anways, the answer is 'yes'; you can fit that tyre in your bike on the cost of loosing pick-up and may be more or less handling.

Yes, almost all of the indian bikes have wet clutches. In this system, the clutch is immersed in oil or any lubricant.

                  • Another update:
"Got my bike back from SC, they reopened all the possible leakage causing parts and then tried to identify the culprit but to my fortune there was nothing culprit that could cause an oil leakage."

I will be scraping Motul from now as my bike is not accepting it, I got "Valvoline 4T premium Synthetic oil 20W50 " for 275 rs\ltr. got 2 bottles of it.

                        • Hey abhi,i changed the oil today. But something unbelievable happened at SC today. Those guys had filled up my bike's engine with the "CASTROL POWER1 15W40"(LIGHT YELLOWISH IN COLOUR) oil.I got really annoyed and told them to replace it with bajaj recommend 20W50 to which those crazy people replied that they use 20w50oil only for 100,150 &135cc bikes! and the 15W40 only for 180 and above cc bikes !Dang i was surprised to hear this and told them to replace it anyhow, showing them the owner's manual. They again came to preach me that manuals are incorrect and asked me to listen to them.I politely disagreed and then they replaced it with the CASTROL ACTIV X-TRA 20W50(LIGHT REDDISH COLOUR) oil.
I'm wondering how can such a goof happen by the showroom service centre.
What do you guys say about this?
Also i'm thinking if change of engine oil type can cause any harm to engine.Any idea?

All the Sc guys are themselves goofs, so no point of trusting them at all with blind eyes.
XW40 will not cause any considerable harm to the engine, but the life of the engine will get decreased by it. one can use it if no option available for a shorter period.

Oh C'mon abhi don't scare him by using those words ,xW40 which literally means less Viscosity index @ 100 deg ,so using xW40 in your engine will not do much harm to it,provided that you ride sanely ;i mean NO ripping. But this doesn't mean that prolonged use will cause no harm, eventually it will.So for a shorter period ,its OK.

And you're true about the SC guyz, they are themselves Goofs,in maximum no of SC's, xW40 oil is used in p180,they call it "Power Oil" : 180 needs more powerful oil, hence the name
