Bored!, Is it a means of entertainment that you got bored to it everytime?Originally posted by ceasar View Post^ got bored of the previous one

Check tires and replace shock-up oil if your bike has clocked more than 10000kms.Originally posted by revtech View Posthow do i improve the high speed stability of my bike ? my bike is a 2006 180 dtsi and ive noticed at speeds over 80 kmph with a single rider the bikes seems to bounce around quite a bit.ive checked tire pressure and stuff but that doesnt seem to help.
Sometimes, it might be due to road conditions because in INDIA we donot have exactly flat road's they bound to contain some sort of undulations, which transfers into the ride being bumpy.
I have a 5000kms old P180 and it also shows bumpy nature even at flat roads and slow to high all speeds. and this happens with almost all bikes.

Plz, do post the details of bill and how much money is covered under insurance.Originally posted by lockhrt999 View Postupdate from me,
The bike is at SC from last three days for repairing under insurance claim..visor, headlight n pilot lamp glasses, left leg guard, left leg peg are to be changed...missing her

Go to SC and tell them about the problem but donot tell them that it happened after accident. Instead tell them that the needle is like that from the 1st day and i have complained several times on services and but still not repaired. probably they will change it under warranty.Originally posted by lockhrt999 View PostDoes anyone have any idea how can I set my tachometer needle to 0k?...accident shook it...It has slipped to somewhere -0.4k

tires are ok.talking about the oil the left rear shock absorber seems to have a little oil on the shaft. dont know if it is leaking.will i have to change the entire unit or can i jus refill it.
please read my first post.i clearly mentioned it was NOT due to tire pressure as i have checked that properly.Originally posted by ceasar View Postthats probably becoz of the tire pressures are set high, even my bike when it was new showed a bumpy nature

Yes! the oil of the shock-up's can be changed, make sure you do it at SC not at a roadside mechanic.Originally posted by revtech View Posttires are ok.talking about the oil the left rear shock absorber seems to have a little oil on the shaft. dont know if it is leaking.will i have to change the entire unit or can i jus refill it.

I'm paying approx 500Rs....Insurance claimed for left leg guard and fairing only so I'm getting insurance for only leg guard and as they come in set I have got to pay for the other side leg guard Rs. 118, also insurance for plastic is 50% so I'm paying half of the cost of the fairing that is Rs.384....also Rs.250 as accident feeOriginally posted by abhichotu.abhi View PostPlz, do post the details of bill and how much money is covered under insurance.
