          • [QUOTE=abhichotu.abhi;354276]Hey friends,
HAPPY NEWYEAR and Safe ride to all of you.

Gear shifts are nice even after 2000+kms, BTW i change oil at every 1000kms.

Go to SC, they will help much better than me atleast.

Hi, congrats for bike, Post pictures of your bike.
White RIMS or Yellow or Silver Rims all will look cool.
Chain tensioner makes too much noise so i removed the roller of chain tensioner and now its only the holder that is fitted, absolutely crap for normal city rides. but helpful for longer rides.
            I am from INDORE.

Hi abhi, thanks for your reply...will definitely post pics of my bike as early as possible & I decided to go wid yellow...thx for sharing your exp wid chain tensioner...oh you from indore... nice buddy... thx again abhi

I got it done from a guy who has a small sticker shop (very small) at the entrance of the first pinkish/purpleish car shop that you get at the entrance of J C road.. 2 or 3 shops after Kamat Hotel (on the right hand side)

I got both tyre RIMS for 60rs. But, i agree on the quality point of view, both the Wheel RIM's have almost teared from every single place due to pressurized water.

I am too surprised that my baby is leaking from a single ester oil, i am scared to know what will happen if i use 300V.
Too much dissappointed with Bajaj, I never RIP my bike then too it is showing strange malfunctions.
I will give my bike tommorow for servicing and will definitely correct it first.

                        • Motul 5100 Review - 300 kms done.

Awesome - just the one word i hav got 2 describe the oil. Smooth gearshifts(Bajaj standards),absolute zero clutch slippage, perceptible decrease in engine temperature.

@Abhi i got the same kind of leaking problem but after 2 to 3days it stopped completely. Wait a while before giving the bike for seal replacement.

Did it leaked after you shofted to MOTUL 5100.

Anyways, I gave bike to SC today got it at 1:00 PM noon, The mechanic said that he has applied sealent to the neutral light switch area from where oil was leaking. and if further the oil leak continues then Neutral light switch will have to be changed. But, he said that it is not covered under warranty as it is just 40-50rs switch, I was shocked to hear that, I think that that should be covered under warranty.

Desi Bajaj Engineers have done a decent job on improving Pulsar series bikes, but they have yet to meet the best results.

                            • I started using Fully synthetic oil after 450km.
If U start using it early it prevents wear & tear of Clutch & other components early.

What ever oil U use the Head starts leaking oil between 10-12k kms.

this the reply i got from a fellow xbhp hyd member when i asked him about the leakage problem in pulsars..i met him in person,he said that it has nothing to do with the oil ,he said all the pulsar generations has this problem when they reach 10k km....
his head was leaking so he got it sealed

                              he also has a workshop
