Yes, I have a 220 too. My brother rides it and I too ride it occasionaly.

BTW, here is the video of Pulsar 180 UG4 fitted with k&n and jets of 220 Dts-i. It's the bike of Akshit. Who is a silent member at xBhp.

      • Yes, the oil cooler could be fitted. It requires change of clutch-cover, an oil cooler (ofcourse) and some other small components. Cost I forgot but if I recall it nearly correct it should be between 4-7K Rs. approx.

        Thanks.

I think it will be approximately 6K including fixing charges....BUT YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR KICKER. .
The P 220 oil cooler is bigger than the P 200

            Guys,

I am so fond of these white Headlight. I heard it some osram or some similar bulbs which is plug and play. I dont want to do any circuit changes, it should just be a remove and replace, just like how we change a faulty bulb.
Is there any options available for the above and the cost involved ?

Go for a HID. Costs range from 1500 Rs (for Chinese) to thousands. For a bulb upgrade look for white bulb in 35W range as members have complained about low battery indicator blinking with 55W bulbs, though I have not faced this issue.

              • My frend bought a white headlight for his bike. Cost him only 150rs. It has white light and is brighter than the stock bulb. Il ask him what brand it is.

Abhi, I like the yellow detailing on your 180. Really stands out!

Guys, I found a rust spot on my petrol tank today. Petrol was seeping out from it and had caused the paint in that area to peel off. I was shocked. My bike is only 6 years old.

Is welding a patch over it the only option, or can I try some temporary jugaad with m-seal or something similar?

The better and safe method will be to go for welding. M-seal even though the company claims it tobe very sticky, I have not been able to make a proper use of it even once. It just did'nt do the job.

                      • I went ahead and tuned my bike today,it was a lil bit on the leaner side so i tuned it to optimal-rich setting, after a few tests i'll go ahead with this setting.

EDIT: the pickup is great but the thumping is fast.I think its running a lil rich now.i've to retune it tomorrow see the result.

Hi. Have u noticed how many turns it was. I Have a doubt. Complete turns means 180 degree or 360 degree rotation of screw makes it complete? After i tuned mine, it was 3 turns with 180 rotation of screw.

                          • ^^^ a complete turn is 360 degrees. three 180 degree turns is 1.5 complete turns.

                            • Yup, I'd like to know about the number of turns as well.

By the way, has anyone noticed a sound from the left side of the engine where (i assume) the magnet assembly is rotating? This sound becomes more prominent when engine is warmer (higher engine idling) and so does a clicking noise from the right side I have heard it on other pulsars as well. Anyone else hearing it on their UG4s?

                              • Then my bike is running too lean huh? Still the pick up is good. The exhaust sounds like thup thup kinda note. Wil this be the effect of lean mix?
