      Hi abhi,

I am very silent member in this thread and this thread helped me alot in choosing my first bike which is ofcourse 'Pulsar 180 UG4 (Black)' and thanks to each & everyone in this thread for your suggestions... which helps a newbie like me to choose their 'BEST'...
Its been 3 months now that i got this beast (infact i learnt riding a bike after getting this one...) I hardly take out my bike for a ride in weekdays, which is why i am still struggling to reach that 2000 milestone but hopefully by this week, i guess and leave the bike for 2nd service....
Nice stickering there buddy, even i am planning to have a rim tape and i was just wondering which colour to choose... and may i know what is the use of a chain tensioner and i see you have one there...where u got that installed...???
I guess you from bangalore tooo, so can you guide me for any good stickering shop nearby..i stay near banashankari

Thanks again to everyone... You guys ROCK...

My tacho also shows 57kmph @4K RPM +-1-2kmph is tolerable which must be due to a slightly higher(+) or lower tyre pressure(-).
its because of the accident n not because of tyre pressure....my idling has reached to 0.7k...its not tolerable because in next servicing idling wud be set to 1.3k which in turn wud be 1.7 originally.

it depends on the oil and the riding style, the drain period of 5100 is 2500KM..if ur hardcore rider who like to rip the bike all the tym..then it wont last.it may last for 1000km ( mind u,this is for extreme riding(insane)and touring)

Gear shifts are nice even after 2000+kms, BTW i change oil at every 1000kms.

Hi, congrats for bike, Post pictures of your bike.
White RIMS or Yellow or Silver Rims all will look cool.
Chain tensioner makes too much noise so i removed the roller of chain tensioner and now its only the holder that is fitted, absolutely crap for normal city rides. but helpful for longer rides.
                    I am from INDORE.

                    Correct.
but MOTUL is good for atleast 2500kms under mixed conditions.

                      BTW,
What do u use for chain lubrication?
SC guy asked me to lubricate it every once in a week to retain its smoothness n to get the best performance from bike.
How frequent do you do it?
and how to check the tension of chain?

I think you guys are under estimating MOTUL here.. My 300v lasted as long as 6.5k kms ( I own a CBZ Classic & you people must be knowing how rough is the engine once past 5k rpm)

Do not change the oil Until you feel it is required to, in the sense I feel motul 5100 can last a minimum of 3.5k kms.

I have read about Motul 300v lasting as long as 11k kms in Uni & 6.5k kms in P200 & 7k kms in P150

                              Just my 2 cents.
