  • Niggles,niggles,...... There is no end for them in Bajaj vehicles.
    New problem:
My high beam and low beam are illuminating sky inplace of road. In simple words both beams are focussing in sky.

I know some members have faced\are facing the same problem. For those Who?? have rectified the problem please tell me how to?

      The reason behind is :
In AC+DC bikes only 30% of current is used for charging battery and rest 70% is consumed in horn,light,...

But in a Full DC bike(as our's) Whole current generated from alternator i.e. 100% of current charges battery. therefore no need of any mods.

but it will not give output of 55W I guess.

        No friend.
The battery has to provide output power, till your battery is constantly charging and output is not taking power more than the charging rate any load can be attached and 55W is not asking for too much. Its only 20W+ from 35W. so, easily, infact very easily obtainable on stock setup, give it a try and you will notice awesome results.

yep you can use the 55W bulb.. not a prob.. it'll surely give better illumination that the stock 35W ones.. but only the bulb cover will get darkened due to the 55W bulb.. but ya.. it'll long for it to change color but it will..

I have used Philips Extreme power, but now again from past 2000kms i am on stock setup as i only wanted to give 55W bulb a try. Will use it only when i go to a tour. In city 35W does its job very well. Philips Extreme Power was damn expensive, costed around 800-900rs(pair) nearly a year ago when i purchased them for my car.

Side-effects are bound to come on anything other than stock.

Hey Abhi... not to worry dude.. this can be easily done by you.. there is screw under the assembly which tune the projection of beams.. even i had faced same issue but through that screw i tuned to 45degree of light on street so its give immense amount of light in night (definitely on road not on sky) so now low beam do well & high beam makes people stare at me

you don't have to measure it...just turn on headlight while adjusting that screw...that screw is something robust from bajaj

                      • hi guys.. ssup!
im going for my first service tomorrow(400kms done in 6days) gotta checkup a few things with you guys before that..
does the blue headlight indicator light up only for high beam ?? (my one doesnt light up for low beam)
when on the thrid gear at around 4000rpm, if i leave the throttle n do engine brakeing, im gettin phat-phat sound from exhaust for 3-4 secs
(i got my a/f tuned few days back to richen the mixture as i had a feeling that bike was running lean, bikes running fine since then, apart from this phat-phat )
btw, im very glad with the way i have been runnin in my bike kept it below 4500/5000rpm mostly, open up the throttle to abt 6000rpm a few times, ran each gear thru the rev range, did lotsoff engine brakeing at all gears and did rip a bit few times

PS.: planning to get my ride's name stickered on to the part wer p200 has 'oilcooled' written next weeknd.. tell me which font looks better outta these two
                        thx in advance

The blue light indicates the high beam, the Pulsar has no low beam indicator in dash.

Called the backfire, indicates slightly rich mixture, no problem, enjoy the sound.

                          The PHAT PHAT's reason.

                              • BACKFIRE , no problem? I disagree.

Is combustion inside the inlet manifold or exhaust ok?

Loss of power being the first result, damage to the inlet manifold or even the carby, depending on how far the rouge flame progresses.

If something is not supposed to happen, make sure it doesn't.
