This dehu road toll naka is the first toll on pune - mumbai highway right >?

Still it wont get imbalanced... Its one of those parts which hardly requires tuning. Vibrations might be because of screw loosening, happens when you redline all the time
Yes, try to as i believe just the screws are loosened up and nothing more. About the average tune your carb.

balancing gear, if worn out creates vibrations in engine and you can hear it while riding. normally balancing gear / balancer shaft takes a long time to wear off.
the vibrations in headlamp and tail lamp assembly may be due to plastic parts coming loose. headlamp also vibrates when its rubber and metallic nut like washers (damn i forgot the exact name) wears out, try replacing it, it comes in a set of 4 or 6.
you don't need to take whole engine out for balancer shaft replacement. i got it done a few weeks ago. the engine does feel a bit smooth. but believe me thats all....a bit smooth.
man, how do you adjust the balancer gear ???
this is how a balancer gear / shaft looks-
and its parts opened up --
btw it takes a really long time for balancer to wear out , mine was replaced for the first time after 1,00,000+ kms.

@princesrohi: I mis-typed I was talking about Balancing shaft adjustment (or what do they call it?). Atleast this was what told to me by mechanic when the bike was having excessive vibrations and he did fixed it for no charge as the bike was under warranty.
^^ was the job done in front of you. just wanna know- what he did exactly. i will ask my mechanic.
did he opened up engine or gearbox ?

He did opened the clutch case and and clutch assembly, It was'nt opened in front of me but I saw him (I went after he opened the clutch to see if he was actually doing what he said). I then left, he said that he adjusted Balancing Shaft and yes the vibrations disappeared (excessive vibrations).![]()
Hey guys! Don't know if anyone remembers me but I just swung by to tell you that my bike theft saga finally got a closure. Got the insurance payout - 55K. They deducted 5% more since my bike had been more than 6 months old (got stolen in its 8 month). After the interest I paid on my loan, I lost somewhere around 30-35K.
So anyway, got quite some insight on how insurance cos and the police work. God forbid, but if anyone ever needs any help dealing with such a case, PM me.
I got a P220 DTSi now (3 days old, as i write). Amazing machine. Can't compare it to my beloved P180 since it still had a special place, being my first bike and all. Anyway, not taking much chances with this one. Have a Xena disk lock alarm clamped on almost all the time I'm not riding it. So yeah, be safe and may your steed be in the pink of health
