I've got Pulsar 180 dtsi v2.1 full black edition, had a severe gear problems for the first one year, later found a reliable bajaj mechanic, who personally serviced my bike and sorted out all problem...now the bike's running fine in stock condition with ngk iridium spark plugs.Planning to get rid of cat-con and running it with 115 jet(currently the bikes running with 112.5 jet(correct me if i'm wrong))/'ll go for the 200's kit !

My question ?

What about 200's oil cooler for my 180 to cut down the engine heat ?Anybody here done that ?

I don't think that will be possible mate. Too many changes to the engine casing.
Maybe you can use fully synthetic oil. Its thicker than normal oil and will run cooler. Although the engine might not rev that freely to high revs till really hot and gear shifting is slightly harder !!

I think all pulsars come with split grab rails now a days !! And here in Bangalore I've seen lots of pulsars with split seats. It shud not be a very difficult job to pull off !!
If you see, the rear fender in the bike in pic also is different !

about that grab tail, many of my friends has fitted p200's split grab tail onto their p150, its not a big issue

DUde everything is not easy to just plug and plAy

The 200's engine is built in such a way that it accomodates the oil cooler!!! you will need to get the block of 200 on your bike basically to get it fixed and confirm first if any one does it in the first place!!

fully synthetic oil is no way thicker than normal oil actually it should be a little thinner..it should have least viscous drag....gear shifting getting harder have been hearing that from a lot of members and have faced but revs build freely...

engine getting hotter is very common in this climate as its already hot outside use w50grades..hope it should be of some help...

using 200 oilcooler on 180 it should be possible there is a vent which is blocked on the right side at the bottom u can fix there...it may not be very easy but not impossible though..there was a discussion abt this a very long time back...
