Default R15's Coolant temperature sensor failed for 4th time

R15's Coolant temperature sensor failed for 4th time

I have 2009 (20P) R15, with 21.5K Kms on Odo. For last 1 year, the Coolant temperature sensor has gone kaput on 4 occasions. It first started after a Free Servicing (Yamaha free servicing camp). Later it showed in normal city riding. Third time it happened just after 600 kms from last occasion. On all these three occasions the Coolant temperature sensor was changed after diagnosing Thermosensor failure.
After the third occasion, I got radiator setup, fan and relays checked. Infact, replaced the fan and relays. I have always ensured that the coolant level is upto the mark and I use Motocool coolant and Motul FS 15W50 engine oil (top up whenever required till 2.5k-3K kms). After 3rd occasion, I got my bike Joeled(big bore + Camshaft + FFE + Simota air filter+ head work+ Clutch springs and valve springs) and changed the CO2 level to 5. Since than the setup ran fine. After 4 months (run-in, extended run-in and normal run for around 3.5 kms post modifications) I tested my bike for 2 hours non stop ride and the engine warning light never popped up.
However, on last Thursday the warning light popped again, after 2.5 hours of run, with one break in between. Checked with FID for the error code and it (error code 21) pointed to coolant temperature sensor.
I want to put an end to the root cause. Need pointers to get this problem rectified. I am assuming wiring harness could be a possible culprit, which can cause short circuit. Apart from that I can't think of anything else.
Experts please help.

PS: I have no electrical modifications on my bike. I am not running HIDs or anything that can drain the battery and cause the engine warning light to pop. On every occasion I checked with FID and found that Coolant temperature sensor was malfunctioning and got it replaced

also if possible can someone post a DIY of how to remove the catcon or a picture of where the catcon is exactly located on the exhaust??

I am facing an issue with Orange warning light.Warning light with error code 15(FID tool suggested Throttle position sensor) is popping up when I start the bike. Initial inspection at SVC by lead mech. suggested clogged protruded part of Throttle Position sensor in throttle body. As such, the throttle body was taken out and cleaned with petrol. However, even after cleaning the throttle body thoroughly, the error is still popping up. The Lead mech. says I ll ve to change entire throttle body as the Throttle position sensor cannot be changed individually. My bike is more than 2 years old and no more under warranty. Is there any solution other than changing the entire throttle body(can throttle position sensor be changed individually).

Can someone answer my questions regarding battery switch:
- How safe is it to use high rated battery ?
- Using the 5Amps battery will raise any electrical issues ?
- Any precautions/warnings/care should be taken before going for 5Amps battery ?
- Can you specify some advantages of replacing the stock with a 5amps battery ?
- Can I go for a higher wattage bulb if I switch to 5amps battery ?

Dude i doubt your censor is out of life, or there is some wiring mismatch. Is the radiator kicking properly ?

@chiyaanvhinnu - I think amaron has a 9amps battery which one can use on R15 and i think the sheet below the battery has to be removed for the same, And the electricals and charging unit will easily take care of the charging.
