Today am changing my lights to Philips Night Vision, is it worth it? temme fast.

What bike are you riding Spiderweb? If the headlight is AC, then you may have to do loadshedding by removing pilot lamps & speedometer bulbs, which will provide additional current to light up the 55W bulb. You can also try Osram Silverstar, which costs Rs, 180 as compared to Phillips costing around 700-800.

Am riding ZMA. PNV costs Rs.400. so what do you suggest? I want good vision on Highways at Night.

I also looked for 90 number oil for chain oiling, but so far I have been unsuccessful in finding it. Will try another two or three shops tomorrow and update you guys. Let me know if the Motul chain cleaner is worth it and how many cans you think we'll need.

You can get it in any shop selling lubricants. Instead of using used engine oil, it is always better to use new oil since the chances of any impurities sticking to the chain get reduced.

I guess Inder will be taking his responsibility

But who will take responsibility of Inder? He seems to have disappeared. Has anyone seen him or heard from him in recent past? Most probably he got a job so he can't spare time for this bullxxit.

Eh, I said I will buy this no? I found a chain cleaning solution (Motul) for 450 bucks for a 400 ml can. Is this worth it? How many should I buy? Are there better brands I can buy? Motul Chain lube will be a good choice.Tell me if you need it.I can help you on that.

ZMA can take any 55W bulb with ease. Silverstar is difficult to find, and if you are getting phillips in 400rs, then go for it

I don't understand what is wrong with planning ?
I do not believe in - UNNECESSARY PAIN = GREAT RIDE.
I personally feel that with proper planning, you can avoid 99% of headaches.

Do you really want to write in your blog that your bike broke down in the middle of no where because you did not service it and some one had to rescue you? Do you want to write that you were puking your guts out or had to stop every couple of kilometers becasue of diarrhea because you did not plan to buy required medicines?

Of course, some problems may creep in but if you plan properly, they are manageable.

The ride is all about enjoying the nature, biking without any worries. This can be done only after careful planning.
