R15 is a AWESOME stoppie machine. But, its not that good for wheelies. Alloys wont crack that easily. But R15 is not a bike you would want for stunting, its the kind of bike you would like to rip and do knee downs on. RTR is Anyday better for stunting when compared to R15. But If you want a Bike for some serious stunting than P220S is the answer, Closely followed by FZ16. |

and riding in both highways as well as in heavy traffic leaving the stunting factor which bike will be good for that type of riding 1.if we compare only the performance and handling which bike stands first? 2.what type of throttle response does r15 have?

1.) R15 has better handling and overall performance. 2.) R15 has one of the crispest throttle response in any Indian bike. If you are not gonna wheelie and budget is not a problem than close your eyes and pick-up a R15. Its not the best bike in traffic (specially if you have a heavy pillion). But once you take her above 5k revs and start hitting corners, you will have a Huge smile on your face .

HEy Buddy. if you wanna smile while sweeping corner and if you wanna feel like riding an SBK, if you wanna Rip and Ride, if you wanna sqeeze the power out of an engine, you got to go for R15. i have been using it for the past 3 months and the feeling everyday i'm having is amazing. IT makes me smile all the way..

1.for city handling rtr180 and p220 are miles ahead 2."throttle response" rtr is pretty close to r15 if you are not very keen on a fully faired bike then think of rtr180 or the p220s both are total value for money

Handling wise, R-15 is the best but RTR is the 2nd best thing to R-15. In terms of 0-60 or 0-100, RTR has the edge. I have personally dragged couple of times & the RTR 180 is ahead by half a bike length. R-15 gains the advantage after 100 kph. R-15 wins hands down when it comes to engine refinement. Brakes on both bikes are great. I think maintenance & parts wise, RTR would be the cheaper one. VFM would be RTR 180 & thats why i bought the RTR as i was on a budget. Here is a small drag between R-15 & RTR 180. MVI_1768 on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Drags:
In theory:RTR beats R15 in a quarter-mile drag race.. In Real world: Depends on rider..The better you are off the line merrier would be the results. Throttle response:RTR is better..Power is available from as low as 3000rpm and roll-on timings are the best, betters the P220 even.R15 is sluggish under 6k! Stunting:I don't know much about this but trying stoppies is a bit of bother as tvs tires suck and henceforth,skids!..R15 is great for stoppies.Looks easy when my friend tries..Brakes are near perfect in both these bikes but R15 inspires lot more confidence and the feedback is much more relaxing unlike in the RTR which bites under hard braking.. Overall..R15 is not the bike for stunting...It's a great track tool and around corners it's just fun..People love R15 no doubt. It's one wonderful bike to drool over but know your needs and requirements and then decide...! Cheers!
