For me its never been nor will ever be my DL, For me its always been and will always remain my RL {Riding License}
I confess that I ♥ :
*Being ogled at while waiting
for lights to turn green
*Fielding queries from massed onlookers
*Pushing dream bikes to their limits
*Blasting past slowpokes
*Hoiking the front wheel
*Scraping a knee around corners

+infinity to shivank and chicane
solution to bad tyres is throwing them off just when you take out your bike from the showroom....the other way is do a burnout and a get a new set tyres and clutch plate

As per the requirements you've mentioned i think the new P220-Street fighter will the better option coz:
>21 BHP, 19.1 NM P220-F engine. Both R15 as well as rtr 180 dont come near to the above figures.
>Its lighter than P220F by 2-3 kgs.
>Very VFM bike. You'll save almost 30000 bucks compared to R 15.You can have of a loads of fuel as well as the initial years maintenance almost covered with that amount.
>You can smoke both the R15 as well as rtr 180 in drag races.
>You can use it occasionally on highways as well.
>Fairing less hence you can use it for stunting.
>Agreed that Bajaj is not very good at reliability but the spare parts are quite cheap.
>If you maintain it very carefully then it should be fine.

Which one are you talking about dude??Originally posted by Bharadwaj_D View Post...>Its lighter than P220F by 2-3 kgs...
P220 is 148kgs(the new one w/o half-faring) :
R-15 is 130kgs == 18 kgs less
RTR180 is 137kgs == 11 kgs less
Both are a good 10+ kgs less...matters a lot...Hope you get my point

I've clearly mentioned that P-220S is lighter by 3 Kgs when compared to P-220F which is an added advantage since P-220F itself is faster than both R15 and RTR. The RTR and R15 may be 10+Kgs lighter than P-220S/F but the power the P-220 houses is more than sufficient to overcome it. R 15 can have unlimited supremacy over P-220 only on the track but not in straight line drag racing.
The fairing less P's can be used for stunting as well, a good example being the P-Stunt mania.
Hope You got my point

I agree on the points of R15 and RTR180 as the above users have mentioned. But I don't feel R15 is a stunting machine. Surely it is capable but it is built for fast sweeping around the corners and its all about perfomance biking. The RTR180 is good stunt machine but you need to get used to those brakes or she'll(or he'll) bite you badly. Otherwise it shares all the prop as that of the R15. Definitely you can't expect a refined and smooth engine from the RTR180. R15 is ages ahead in terms of technology. But when I saw the word DRAG, P220 rang the bell. No bike stands a chance of winning if the rider shifts perfectly(don't bring in Ninja). It has all that raw power and usable at that. It is also very capable of performing stunts(a preffered one I suppose). For city driving you'll find both the RTR and P220 comfy as they have enough low end torque. Flicking is easy on the RTR. The R15 has only one problem in city I guess. That wide body!! You'll need to be careful not to scratch when in close heavy traffic. P220 is the heaviest one in the list so flicking is tough.
People around are suggesting to go ahead with the R15 if you have the money. But according to your requirements(stunting, drags, city and highway driving) I feel you should choose between RTR and the P220. As far as drags are concerned I can assure that P220 will win. I have zero knowledge about stunting. So I say try to grab a friend's RTR and P220, try out stunts and you'll know which one to go ahead with.
Choose wisely.........
