FAQs-RTR owners
For me its never been nor will ever be my DL, For me its always been and will always remain my RL {Riding License}
I confess that I ♥ :
*Being ogled at while waiting
for lights to turn green
*Fielding queries from massed onlookers
*Pushing dream bikes to their limits
*Blasting past slowpokes
*Hoiking the front wheel
*Scraping a knee around corners

Chicane's absolutely correct if you are looking for something called sheer performance, refinement, style go for a R15, the apache's refinement level is very low and even at normal speed you can feel the vibes starting from foot pegs to the handle bars. go in for yammie brother you will love it.Originally posted by chicane1879 View PostIf you have the money, go for the R15 with eyes closed.
But if you are looking from maximum performance per rupee point of view, then RTR 180 comes up trumps. It does everything almost as good as the R15 and still costs a good 30-35k cheaper.
The two things in which the RTR lags behind by a good margin is: Top Speed and Engine Refinement.Rest a test ride of these two machines will make you clearer in making the final decision.
as you have said that your looking for a vehicle for stunting i would ask you to go with apache as its a bit light weight, width is also comparatively small.
Do let us know what you have finalizedMuRtHY

R15/Apache 180?
Hey guys , I'm new here . I'm planning on buying a bike by the end of September and I need some advice . As of now I'm inclined towards the New R15 but waiting for its official release .
I'll be riding about 20-25kms a day(To and fro for college) . I don't mind a sporty riding posture I've ridden a friend's r15 and loved it .
I'm not very particular about the mileage but I need atleast 30kmpl .
Also I'll be keeping this bike for atleast 4 years so I need something that'll remain consistent for the time period . Something that wont trouble me for a long time.
Vibrations is a big NO . Also Im not a very experienced rider , I ride my friend's bikes once in a while (I'm not bad either )
So should I go for the New R15 or Old R15 or Apache 180ABS or soemthing else?
Budget is around <1.25l
Thanks in advance!

Test ride an well maintained rtr abs, try concentrating on the vibes... use a helmet... if you are irritated... dont consider it, test ride new r15 also... if you are planning to have a pillion rider regularly, r15 is out of question :P ... or else it is a very good option, i'm also hearing about next gen pulsars and new apaches... look out for them, if they come in september,i have a feeling ktm200 is gonna come this month... you can consider them also...Originally posted by arun.manuel14 View PostHey guys , I'm new here . Also, 99% of your post talks about R15 and only 1 % about RTR.
You have already made your mind, go with the R15 V 2.0!If you ride like there's no tomorrow...worry not there won't be!

The R15 is the best handling machine in your options. no vibes, feels safe at any speeds. the cons of r15: bad to ride with pillion, especially if the pillion is heavier that you. less initial torque making it uncomfortable for heavy traffic.PM me for Daytona Racing ECU for the R15
