The future Yamaha R6 might look a bit closer to the current litre class sibling Yamaha R1 as per the images shared by a Japanese motorcycle magazine. However, the middle-weight motorcycle will remain same for the current fiscal.
According to these ‘2017 Yamaha R6’ images, the new bike might share a few components with the elder sibling, and in fact in these images the front of the bike looks identical to the 2015 Yamaha R1.
These renders will definitely make all the motorcycle enthusiasts curious about the final shape of the new R6, though we have some reservations about the authenticity of these images as they look pretty similar to the 2015 R1 and historically we’ve never had a Yamaha R6 looking like the Yamaha R1.
