Mahindra Two-Wheelers has launched its Gusto 125 scooter in eight more states including Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. Company launched it in March but the sales was restricted to the southern states of Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The scooter has been priced at Rs. 48,410 for DX trim and Rs. 52,410 for VX variant, ex-showroom Delhi.
Mahindra Two Wheelers Chief Operating Officer Vinod Sahay said, “Since its launch last year, Gusto has grown consistently and we are now excited about extending the Gusto brand into include new consumer segments.”
The scooter is now available in Maharashtra, Goa, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Delhi.
The Gusto 125 has been developed completely in-house by Mahindra’s team at its R&D centre in Pune. The scooter sports a more powerful 125 cc M-TEC engine compared to its 110cc sibling. The engine is equipped with MCDi technology that changes the ignition timing for better performance when it senses stress on the motor. Mahindra claims that this technology will make double occupancy trips and zipping through traffic an easy task. The engine is capable of producing 8.7BHP of power and 10Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a CVT gearbox.
The scooter comes with 12-inch wheels, tube less tyres. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock at the rear. And for braking for the variants are equipped with drum brakes at both ends.
Gusto 125 VX model with some extra features like height adjustable seat, remote flip key, find me-lamps and guide lamps.
The Mahindra Gusto 125 is available in four colour shades – Orange Rush, Bolt White, Monarch Black and Regal Red.
