Aprilia has introduced its latest product in the Intermot show 2016 – 2017 Aprilia RSV4 RF and will be launching in 2017.
The latest model has undergone some internal variations, which include changes made to the engine, including lighter pistons and a number of friction-reducing treatments. A linear sensor has also been added to the gearbox, which aids in the new quick-shifting functions for upshifts and downshifts.
The 2017 Aprilia RSV4 RF has an improved suspension system with more responsive braking as well as an updated electronics package, which includes Bosch’s cornering ABS. Aprilia RSV4 RF comes with premium suspension pieces from Öhlins.
The new model of Aprilia has adapted to the Euro 4 emission standards keeping up with the power as well as the torque ratings.
The highlight of the new Aprilia RSV4 RF is the New ATC: Aprilia Traction Control, adjustable on the fly, (without having to release the throttle) to 8 settings, as well as disabled, thanks to a practical joystick, now even more fine-tuned logic for higher performance operation.
Another important feature which the company offers is the Aprilia Wheelie Control, adjustable to 3 levels, also switchable, receives more precise operating strategies thanks to the repositioning of the inertial platform. Wheelie control can now be adjusted on the fly without closing the throttle, like the ATC, thanks to the new and more practical left side electric block.
